I just wanted to let you know that I've gotten my just deserves for my prior post in reference to my inability to cope with parties and events due to my shyness and lack of ability to be aggressive enough to keep mingling. (See the attached pic)

I've quit the whining and drivel and am back to what, I hope, is my normal spunky self! Thanks to EVERYONE for the great suggestions, offers, and cajoling that helped get me over my bout with self-pity. This has been a really a fun and supportive online group!
:)
I REALLY wanted to thank the Fantasyers for an awesome, well thought-out, organized, very unique, and fun party. (Despite my own shortcomings)

Specifically, the things I liked:
* Sushi and to die-for chicken and sauces.
* Organization, including the email explaining location, parking, hotel accommodations, etc.
* Hosts, who I know musta worked their butts off to put it all together.

The music, I suppose depended upon your tastes. I guess I'm just a "cougar," and I suppose I'm alone in wanting an occasional slow dance.

Things I didn't like:
The hostess and the Sushi table. Every time the hostess walked by, I had to tuck my husbands tongue back into his mouth! And every time we traveled through the food line I had to remind him "No hun, pick your food off the "table," stop trying to EAT the "table!"

But seriously, THANK YOU Fantasyers for an awesome party!!!

BTW, I'm a redhead and I think that allows me to both whine and compliment in one day? ;) OH, and yes, I did misspell valentine!
Just want to say thanks to the organizers as well. This was our first M & G in Salt Lake City and our first with Fantasyers. Thank you for your patience regarding the several emails we send along with a list of questions each time lol......Had a nice time dancing & mingling & an even GREATER time after ;)
had a good time thanks.
Awesome party guys...thanks to the host and to all the sexy people that were there. Looking foward to the next one.
Thanks again for a great night out. The food was great, the company was great, and the sex was great! can't ask for more :D

Couple pros and cons i noticed that differed from the xmas party.
Pros - much, much easier to get a drink!! not as crowded so was easier to meet people and dance without taking an elbow to the head or else where lol.

Cons - the dance music was still a bit too loud(but better than the xmas party), and we too would have like a few traditional slow songs

All in all, a great night and we can't wait till the next one!!
We would like to thank everyone who attended the Valentine Seduction Event and for making it a great success.

We had a great looking group and it was very well attended. Thanks to everyone who helped in any small way and a special thanks goes out to ABCcouple (Karl & Charlene) for all of their help with set up and Hotel accommodations.

Also a special thanks to Mrs. "The Execs" (Will & Tali) for laying on a table for over an hour and allow people to pick sushi from her body. She looked fantastic.!

Thanks again to everyone and we will see many of you at the "Summer Splash" Event on June 25th.

This was our first local event at a business. While we did have a grand time with the great people we met, we were very disappointed in a few things about the party.

The arrangement of the food was decidedly inconvenient and slow moving, having lines on either side of the table and more than a few tongs for everyone to share would have been ideal. I realize that the plates used looked nice and are similar to the size used in many sushi restaurants but it is a very different arrangement, the sushi is on a tray right there in front of you. Bigger (even if cheaper) plates would have been appreciated, many of us were frustrated with having to go through the long line at least twice due to the small plates and only being allowed one. Labels for the sushi would have been appreciated, many people have diet restrictions and allergies. We were surprised to only see one sushi woman, and were disappointed that she wasn't actually naked (but recognize that is probably because of utah laws and club regulations) Also, did anyone else get sick that night?

The first DJ was less than impressive. Not once did I hear a conversion from one song to the next that entailed any actual DJing skill, the volume overall was too loud and fluctuated, not to mention the many brief silences we all endured as he awkwardly made his way through the songs. Although, the one that came later did do a better job. I was also surprised that all the staff didn't bother to match the dress code of the evening, very un-classy. Even wedding DJs have the consideration to dress up.

Lastly, although I was told they would remedy it, the hosts forgot about the prizes promised to the first 50 couples who RSVPd. I absolutely understand that they had a lot on their hands, but I was shocked when I asked what the prize would be and how they know who got it, and was met with a confused look. Something like this can easily be prevented, every event needs a preparation checklist.

We think the whole idea was fantastic, they found a great location for this event with the sushi place being right next door, and the club itself had a very cool ambiance. The arrangements with the hotel were much appreciated as well. Especially for those who live far away or for anyone who enjoys having a place to play without needing to take people to your home. The hosts were approachable and very nice, I appreciate their answering my questions. I know a lot of work went into arranging it all, and I am so very thankful that we went. I just hope to see better organization if we go to one again.
