Swingers Forum - Too Old??

I am 53 and the male half of a couple.My wife is 36.
Am I too old to be doing this now?It seems nobody contacts us now or just doesnt answer messages we send.
We aren\'t looking for 20 something or even 30 something couples although we have met people in their 30\'s and had fun.But people in their 40\'s or 50\'s,we should be able to meet some of those.
I may be in my 50\'s but I can still perform as well as younger guys,and I have the mentallity of a younger guy despite the fact my joints might stiffen a bit or my back aches more than it used to.
It would be interesting to hear from others about this.

Never too old age is only a number we did a post on this in the forum last year on this same subject.The smart ones will not prejudge you simply because of age if they do they miss out on lots of fun because us middle aged cpls KNOW how to have fun we don\'t only talk about it we do it :-)

last year we had a 3 sum with a 53 and only reason he is not around is he lost his reason to pleace. and something on his part about guilt, we think he was lieing to his wife complex.

We agree completely with Norm & Sharon. We are both 35 and actually prefer couples our own age or older. Looking at the profiles of younger couples, most are only looking for \"ken and Barbie\" types with some exceptions. By the same token, there are older couples doing the same thing. Unfortunately, they will never know the excitement, thrill, or passion of knowing someone regardless of preferences. We have a very good couple that we play with and they are older than us and that makes it all the more exciting. We are also very good friends outside the bedroom as well.

For some reason the 20somethings really seem to be drawn to me (the male 1/2) not sure why. IT is mostly fun but the young 20\'s while fun and energetic (and appreciative of the longer foreplay/massages/cuddling afterwards) some times the \"20somethingness\" in them shows the drama flares a bit

remember it we did not say ALL just some....

and the couples that are in thier 50\'s tend to be fun AND appreciate a good dinner or nice weekend trip

I am the male member of the CHEMISTRY couple and I am a prime example that there is no reason to consider age as being a major issue. Sure, I don;t have lots of opportunities to swing with couples in their 20\'s and 30\'s, but we have two female play partners who are in their late 20\'s and another in mid 30\'s who are overjoyed at the prospect of playing with is. It all stems from personal preferences.
