So I always read about people going to habits and having a good time, I'm not sure if the reason people go there on this site cause of the swing aspect of it. But what I wanted to know is in your opinion what makes a good bar? I'm not talking about just the lifestyle stuff, I'm talking about in general. I think personally is the feel the place first off. Tell me your thoughts.
Good vibe.
Good layout.
Adequate space and seating.
A DJ that knows what he's doing and can move fluently thru his music depending on the vibe of the crowd. Being able to fluently move up and/or down to affect the vibe is an awesome skill.
A bartender that knows his/her drinks.
Quality drinks. (I HATE watered down beers and cheap liquor. I'd rather pay a little more to get a quality drink.)
Reasonable prices. (I believe somewhere between the $5-9 depending on the drink, variety of ingredients, and possible complexity of the recipe is a reasonable amount.)
I think that about sums it up.
I also tend to choose a club who's vibe suits my mood that particular night.

My bar is a good bar. Well its not a bar its a private deal but its fully stocked. I think those on here that have visited like it so we are having parties there off and on. You should check it out sometime.
We look for the feeling of unbridled energy. We have really enjoyed the clubs/bars in Vegas. GhostBar at the palms, Bank at Bellagio etc. They have a great feel and they don't close at 2:00 a.m. None of these have anything to do with the lifestyle, but we have met a lot of amazing people there.
Habits can be fun but, as it always seems in Utah nightlife, it ends before it starts.

We prefer canyon inn because it's close &
seems to be plenty of open minds with the
regular straight crowd that are easily converted.
