Swingers Forum - Sensual Massage?

Ok, I've noticed some people advertise Sensual massage but what is the difference between a "Relaxation massage" and a "Sensual massage"?
I'm just curious to hear what u think.
Being an LMT for 12 years at a Major hotel spa there are only 2 area's I haven't massaged on someone. Are these area's expected to be massaged in a sensual massage? There has been some unexpected reactions to some of my Relaxational ones but I still had to kept it on a Professional Level.
What do "YOU" expect/assume that's going to be different and is a Happy ending one of them. Like I said Just Curious.
more or less as far as here (or rather anywhere outside a professional setting), its a way to get touchy and lead to happy endings/sex. that's why i don't take anybody up on the offer as i don't get touchy feel-y with anybody other than the hubby. and if i'm getting a real massage, i don't need any funny business going on.
i would assume relaxation is going to work out muscle groups and tension. sensual would be light and more just the touch of soft hands rubbing warm oils up and down your body. at least that's what i assume.

and now for the typical thread/forum response... let the fighting begin.
cuz haters gonna hate. hahahaha
To my understanding when one discusses a sensual massage it can include all body parts but does not generally do so except among lovers. It is intended to be purely recreational or pleasurable in nature and does not claim to have ties to healing or medicine. Therefore it often has no specific boundaries. It does not include sexual congress or masturbation practices etc as part of a session although many misguided people think that it does and would be disappointed if the practitioner does not properly explain that fact up front and clearly states the limits of touch. There are DVD and instructional manuals on it for lovers and it is often associated with Eastern sexual practices of Tantra. I have been and I am involved with the eastern practices of Kama Sutra, Tantra, and sensual massage and although I am not a master of all three I have taught the basics on occasion to friends.
It usually starts at the toes or finger tips and can, but does not have to, involve the whole body including the face. When you are doing relaxation massages you do not generally include facial, chest, stomach etc. The touch is softer in sensual massage and it is not meant to be used for muscle trauma or injury as deep muscle or high pressure relaxation methods often are. It is not specifically recognized or regulated by law in most states like therapeutic massage but is often taught by a business in exchange for money in some states as yoga is and is then regulated. I would guess that although it is not specifically against the law in Utah the powers that be would not be pleased with someone performing it on a regular basis.

Tell that to the people (yes.. that's meant to be plural) that have tried to get inappropriately handsy with me. :P
(that's why i don't take people up on the offer anymore)
Unfortunately for us all the law prohibits pretty much all the fun stuff, although there is one loophole. I haven't read the "division rule" but it looks like if we sign a written consent form we might be able to enjoy female breast massage... hmmm.

Also, being undraped is not against the law but it is against the "Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice" for massage therapists in Utah. So the massage recipient wouldn't get arrested for being undraped, but the therapist could lose his or her license. What are we, two-year-olds? Sheesh!

Here's the relevant section of the Utah Code:

UCA 58-47b-501 Unlawful Conuct. (3)massaging, touching, or applying any instrument or device by a licensee in the course of practicing or engaging in massage therapy to:
(a) genitals or anus; and
(b) breasts of a female patron, except when a female patron requests breast massage, as may be further defined by division rule, and signs a written consent form, which must also include the signature of a parent or legal guardian if the patron is a minor, authorizing the procedure and outlining the reason for it before the procedure is performed.

I've also heard that if you're not paying for the massage, you're good to go. Least that's what I've been told. Who knows if its true or not.

Think we should try to violate as many of those as possible.

You're right, Kitty. If money's not changing hands it's just two consenting adults playing around. That being said, if a licensed therapist were to give away a sensual massage to someone who didn't invite it, I'm guessing not having charged the 'client' wouldn't save them.
I think it's a sensual MA-ssage when it's performed by an International Man of Mystery with wanky teeth.

As a male CMT myself, I have been asked by both male and female clients if I do "sensual" massage. I always tell them that all massage is sensual - otherwise why get a massage, for heaven's sake! But I go on to explain that my massage is sensual, not sexual. I will do the massage undraped, if they request it (but no massaging the genitals or breasts). I personally prefer to keep the genitals draped, but if a woman requests that her breast be undraped, I am happy to do so (yes, I enjoy looking, just like any red blooded man - but that is NOT the reason) I was trained at Esalen, and their massages are characterized by long strokes from one end of the body to another. Those strokes flow much more smoothly if you don't have to hop over a breast drape (the stoke goes between the breasts, not over the top of them)

I like to massage a woman's clit and a man's cock with my mouth.. I think that's a very sensual massage and I don't charge for it... also it's a very sensual massage when I can lick them while they have intercourse
that's the most sensual massage a man and woman can get at the same time :)

I love girl juice and sausage for breakfast.. sweet and spicy.. and delicious
Have received some GREAT answers and I agree with most of them. I don't describe my massages other than
Professional (as I said I work in a Major Hotel Spa) Relaxational, Deep tissue etc...But working in
an International Hotel I get a number of clients who prefer to be massaged "Professional" but uncovered
that's what they're used to overseas. Must admitt it is difficult to deal with at times.
But as far as the Law In Florida we can Massage the Breast's as long as we don't touch the Areola's,
go figure. That's like wearing a thong without showing your crack. LOL.
As far as Money being exchanged as long as the Money is in the form of a "TIP" instead of the service itself it's ok.

In Florida u can't advertise "Massage" if u are not licensed that's why here they advertise "Body Rubs"
or Body Wash".
