Swingers Forum - Place to Hang out and Play

We moved here to UT due to my job. We lived in Vegas for a while and enjoyed going to a place called The Red Rooster. It was a persons house that they invited thier friends over to hang out and play.
We were wondering if anyone had any ideas to create a place like The Rooster here in UT (Salt Lake City Area. The Rooster has several private rooms, pool and spa as well as a social area and a group play place.

I'm not trying to advertise for The Red Rooster but here is the link to thier web site to see the pics of the place. Hope to give you guys an idea of a place to have fun it we had one in the SLC area. http://www.vegasredrooster.com/

If anyone has Ideas or would like to help creat a place like this for the SLC area let us know.

M & C
They have had few places like that but have fizzled due to lack of interest/funds. People here just really don't have the finances to keep going. As interested as they are, they aren't willing to pay for it. Hell, a motel 6 room is cheaper then most door fees. However, check out Utah Uncensored. They often host after hours play time in a safe environment and the price is somewhat reasonable. D and L are also on Swingular but under a different user name. I'm sure someone reading this will know who I'm referring to and lead you in the right direction.
I would think another problem with having any permanent location is as soon as law enforcement found out they would be knocking down the door every chance they got...you couldn't charge any sort of entrance or membership fee cuz that would require a business license and we know that won't happen here in Utah...such a good idea but Blue is right about utahuncensored and fantasayers also does parties and some others....stupid frigid Utah laws lol
The Folks in Vegas use thier house and you provide a donation to attend its BYOB they provide the mixers. The Law in Vegas has tried for years to shut them down but can not do it because it is theier "home". I/we do think there is a lot of folks here that would attend just would have to be where they can not be seen arriving.

You underestimate the power of the law to "harrass" even if there's no law being broken.
How many folks are going to be comfortable attending when the law continually enters to "spot check" whether or not money is being charged and alcohol is being either provided or sold?
("oh, we're SO sorry for violating your constitutional rights - just doing our job")
And what of the same harrassment "outside" the actual party house or whatever?
If you continually see several police cars parked VERY close by, are you going in.
You say it would be important that people NOT be seen arriving...............
How would you propose to do that in such a way that the police couldn't monitor it?

Don't get me wrong, I totally applaud your wish to get an establishment in your area.
I've been to the Red Rooster, and I frequent house parties at more than one "private" residence very close to where I live, so I know how much fun it can be.
Butt I agree with what others are saying: Location, location, location - and - sorry to say - yours sucks as far as such an endeavor being successful.

A-freakin-men. For starters, Utah HAS had two establishments of that nature and economically they failed. No one is willing to pay a donation regularly AND deal with nosy neighbors, cops who DO and WILL harass clients. Would a place like that be fun? Fuck yeah. But the OP is delusional if they honestly believe that both the law and morality police aren't gonna close it down and that people are willing to pay a premium price to use someone's house to fuck in. I know there are house parties here in Utah that people are required to bring their own alcohol, a snack to share, AND pay an entrance fee. I also think the hosts are laughing at the all gullible Utahns all the way to the bank. I also happen to know that a certain county DA is investigating both the hosts AND the guests. I have a friend who works for the PD down there and undercovers were taking down license plate numbers of cars in the area.

But good luck with opening another location here in Utah. This is a sexually repressive state.

I don't see a problem with this. And since there's a bunch who attend, it doesn't seem like many others do either.

That is simply ridiculous, what could be your motivation to post that? Is it any wonder the forum has become so stale?

Because I was bitching about the police department/DA. That's WHY I posted about it. Hence the statement "This is a sexually repressive state". I don't really think what consenting adults do in a private setting is anyone's business. Your neighbors, your family, clergy, law enforcement, politicians, your employer, the guy who cuts your lawn, the girl who rings up your coffee.. whomever. Playing Naked Jenga and getting your rocks off while surrounded by like minded adults shouldn't be a crime.

And in Utah, it is.

Once again....This. Is. A. Sexually. Repressive. State.

Edited to add....my cousin's husband was the police officer that told me and I have NO reason to doubt him.

The best way to control a population is to make them miserable, tell them that life sucks, and if they're good they're next life will suck less. Keeping people sexually frustrated is a very effective way to make them miserable.
I think its a great idea but agree there is a risk but I think there can be a way around the "law" if it is a private residence. I'm sure if anyone decides to do this they will definately benefit from "reading up" on the law. I totally support the idea. Thanks for sharing!! :)

We happen to know a couple people who have had their little house parties busted...once that happens it opens up a whole new world of harassment for you from our "protectors"...It's a shame that we live in such a state :(
I used to frequent one of the "clubs" here in Utah. It was set up as a church to allow for the legalities to be covered. Everything was going very well for the place until a local paper got wind of it and effectively blackmailed the hosts into either allowing them to come visit the site and do interviews or get a story written about them that called them everything shy of a brothel. Like Tammy said, this is a very sexually repressive state. While the law may not be able to pin any one charge on the location, they can and will harass anyone and everyone entering or leaving the establishment.

If you are able to get a permanent location established with full legal rights and some way to reasonably assure your guests anonymity, you will have a gold mine.
I guess we should get a fe folks together and get a large suite at a Hotel and let the fun begin
It surely seams that the number of swingers in Utah is LARGE. I have heard some thing before like, (Utah has the most subscriptions to sexy magazines per capita) and that the numbers of swingers in Utah is in the top 5 on the list. So with all those people how is it Utah is still so controlling of what the people want?

Here in Florida we have ON PREMISE clubs that are completely legal. Yes every now and then the news tries to gain a few points with the religious WRONG. For the most part if the club keeps it's nose clean everyone else stays out of it. We also have house parties and places called house parties that are 3 days a week every week. It's by invitation only and you BYO-drinks, a dish to pass and most donate to the cause. Keep in mind these are BY INVITATION ONLY... Meaning if you don't donate you may never be invited back. The owners DO live there and have regular bills sent to these homes. There are some that move around from hotel to hotel also. By invitation only...

About a year ago a house party was busted out in the sticks. A few people were harassed by the local news jerks. Since then that TV station has lost a large number of people watching them due to their ON CAMERA BS...

We are members of an ON PREMISE club in Port Richey, Fl. The police have been trying to find a reason to shut our doors a few times. 1st go around was people that lived in the vicinity. This brought on an investigation and the TV NEWS CREWS. They interviewed many of the homeowners and also the people in the stores below the club. Well the neighborhood wanted us out and the store owners wanted us to stay pointing out how clean and decent things have been since the BAR upstairs became a nice quiet swingers club. About 6 months or so ago the TV NEWS crews were at it again. This time the people in the neighborhood watch all around the club had said their crime rate had dropped like a rock. NO reports of anyone ever needing the police or an ambulance and no homeless people hanging around trying to sponge off people anymore either. Also no broken bottles in the parking lot. So now the locals are happy with us... Go figure...
