We are gonna be in Vegas from the 30th of Dec. until Jan. 2nd. What kinda fun for a couple of lightweights is there? We are staying at the Luxor, and would surely love some girl fun or just a good time with pervs like us. J & D.
we did new years in vegas a few years ago, our advice stay off the section of the strip they close...well unless you really dig trampling masses
Will be there before New Years. Dec 26-29...

wish we were going to vegas for new years sounds like tons of fun, have a drink on us !!! looking for something here, anyone one got something going on?? we did a new years party one year at a hotel & was alot of fun.. A&G
i would take utah-couple i also did it a few years ago. Its one of those things that its cool once but probably wouldnt do it again. We seen some dude get knocked out for no reason then people started pulling out thier phones and ta,ing pictures of him as hes lying on the floor twitching from being out cold the hotel security just kinda made a circle around him but didnt try to stop people from taking pics of the poor guy. Dude pissed himself he was out that cold, but anyways then to just get back to the hotel it took us 2 1/2 hours for a drive that usualy takes maybe 15 minutes. Have fun and try to not get knocked out lol but it is something like i said is good once. You need to check out Zumanity at newyork newyork that show is sexy and funny as hell and an awesome performance.
Vegas is great on New Years! We go every year.
Advice for anyone the night of:
1) Stay on the strip. Not close to, but ON the strip. It took us 2 hours to get out of the parking garage once on New Years. If you stay on the strip it's not a problem at all.
2) The casinos close their doors when it gets close to midnight in order to keep the crowds under control. If you go out, you'll have to stay out until after the fireworks. However, if you're a guest at their hotel they'll still let you in. Plan ahead.
3) The fireworks are visible from everywhere on the strip. Just park yourself in front of a casino and enjoy.
4) If you're looking for a calmer crowd and you're not looking to see as many drunks or wild people, go to a high-end casino like the Venetian. The crowd's a lot older and tamer. And finally,
5) It'll take you a long time to get anywhere. Don't plan on traversing the whole strip or it'll take you hours.
We highly recommend Vegas though! There's no greater spot for people-watching.
