I\'m sure this something we all want to know before we begin to get serious with someone else. Nothing is more frustrating than to spend time chatting with a couple, woman or male, then to find out it was a lie all along.
Even posting a picture can\'t tell the whole story. We laugh at profiles that show pictures of the wife, pictures of the husband but never in the picture together. Even funnier when you see pics of the wife, but the pic of the husband is him taking a picture of himself in a mirror! Come on...who are you fooling!!!
So we don\'t feel it\'s rude when we want to know there truly is a couple on the other end. Emails and IM\'s are find as an introduction, but after that we want to hear a voice or see faces on a webcam. It\'s usually at this point we lose contact with \"whoever\" because the time has come to put up or shut up and the lie is exposed.
We don\'t mind one bit using a webcam to show our faces..or to chat on the phone so people know we are real. Being in the lifestle for nearly 8 years has introduced us to some truly wonderful people. It has also introduced us to those who are not so wonderful.
So our point is...if you think it\'s rude...we\'d like to know why. If you feel like we do - we\'d like to hear from you also!

we totally agree..thats why most cpls we meet seem to come from webcam chat sites(Like ANYWEBCAM)..
So we always trade pic with our name watermarked on them or we trade our videos on our forum boards(to our members only)...

Don\'t think its rude at all. I think it\'s very fair to ask to see a couple on webcam or talk to them on the phone (in the same phone conversation)
The administrator requires for a couple to show their faces on cam to him to verify they are a real couple to get verified........ and we think thats perfectly reasonable....

It\'s perfectly reasonable to be asking to get someone on a phone or cam. I\'ve seen webcams avaliable for free and for purchase as low as $5, there is no reason someone can\'t get one to verify they are real.
Personally I think a webcam is really the way to go, weeds out both the singles posing as couples and wasting your time, and weeds out the singles/couples posting photos from years ago that they no longer look like.

yes webcams are great...but did you know you can play movies with a capture card and load it on yahoo or another program? I once thought i was chatting to a miami lady one night about 10pm and noticed all that sunlight coming threw her bedroom window ....Fooled again .....

True, while that can be done it is awfully difficult if you are having an actual conversation, you can always ask someone to do something to verify that it\'s real time video, getting them on the phone while on cam (or using voice chat) can help with that a lot..
