USAF 1962-1983.
Thank you. Those that served in my wartime of Vietman were treated like dirt. I recall walking through commercial air terminals in uniform and being called a murder, or seeing a soldier being spit on, or a civilian laying down taking up 3 seats, and refusing to give up 2 seats so military people could sit down. There were large street protest, and hate signs everywhere. We were all ordered to not respond, complain, or anything else while in public. Our job was to slow down or halt the spread of communism. In time we succeeded as the last communist stronghold in the world is Cuba. Todays military is all voluntary. Those serving today do so out of their love for America and its ideals. Their job is to stop terrorism from controlling everyone's life, and make the world a peaceful place. They will do their job with more earnest knowing you care.

From myself, and for all the men and women who were or are in the military, "Thank you for remembering us."
