Just an idea here. Instead of having the forum posts on the front page of Swingular, being the first thing new members see, can it be changed to where people can post them on their profile page? This way when you're browsing the million-plus members on here and you find yourself interested in a particular member you can simply read their posts and those that have replied to their posts. It would alleviate a lot of the negativity on here. It would allow the new members time to browse around before being turned off at the negativity. The Admin's wouldn't have to play babysitter and watch the forums. The person posting could be given the rights to monitor their own forums posts as they would be on their private page.

other web sites show the posts and threads started by a member on their profile.
I like the idea of being able to access peoples forum posts via their profile, but I disagree thats the only place to be able to read them. Lets keep topics on the main page so you can see what's on everyone's mind. Altho I do wish their was a both a picture of the OP as well as the last respondent. That way if the OP is someone who you're not fond of, you could just bypass it altogether.

Exactly...i think a lot of topics would be missed simply because no one has time to sit and sift through the "millions of profiles" just to find the latest topics!
Forum postings would 'die on the vine' if they had to be searched for (imho).
