Just an idea here. Instead of having the forum posts on the front page of Swingular, being the first thing new members see, can it be changed to where people can post them on their profile page? This way when you're browsing the million-plus members on here and you find yourself interested in a particular member you can simply read their posts and those that have replied to their posts. It would alleviate a lot of the negativity on here. It would allow the new members time to browse around before being turned off at the negativity. The Admin's wouldn't have to play babysitter and watch the forums. The person posting could be given the rights to monitor their own forums posts as they would be on their private page.

I don't want to have to sift through everyone's profile pages to find forum posts...I think everyone needs to just be a little more adult and stop putting others down...besides if you hide the bad stuff too then that's just sugar coating things...I usually see the forums as an eye opener as to people's personalities

If it was OK the way it was setup the Admin's wouldn't have to delete posts. The Admin's wouldn't have to post on the post's themselves telling all the adults to play nice or we'll make you play nice. haha
You're going to get that no matter how it's set up...for instance, we have one who likes to "stalk" another person on the posts...if you set it up that way you would give them an easier way to follow them around....you have drama no matter the forums and how their set up...I play one game on facebook and their forums are just as bad if not worse...and hubby is on the Utah Jazz forums and those guys are horrible...they come right out and call people all kinds of nasty names...you put this many people with different personalities and views and there is going to be some childness no matter how you set it up...but it's great to think of other ways...kisses...Naugh-Ty

Well my pharmacist would appreciate my stalker having access to my posts. Keeps me running in there for my blood pressure and anti homicidal meds.

I think you just go to their profile and there should be a block option and the same in chat...kisses

Forums have to be open or this site simply boils down to high school clicks and groups. Besides the powers that be seem to stay out of most conversations. If you don't like what someone says on a regular basis, ignoere them and don't read their posts! After all it is nice to know who the Assholes are. We all have them.
