I'm pretty sure the TOS for this site reads that it's not to be used for business purposes. The only business that should be advertised should be "Gettin down to business", in the bedroom that is. I would love to pay someone to do anything Im not comfortable doing. Trust me, I'm actually thinking about hiring a mother's helper (insurance is going to pay for it) just because after chemo and shit, I'm tired and my head is fried. I figured having someone clean up my hard drive and organize files is cheaper then throwing my computer out a window and buying a new one. I'm about to do that to my dryer as it is.

I have no issue with ALWAYSMYMAZDA charging for a service, and think it's totally appropriate for someone to to post here to fix the things that allow all of us to enjoy this site.
However, I think there are plenty of us pervs that would be happy to move her files around just as a way to get to peruse what is in her pictures and possibly videos!!! Not to mention getting to hang out with her! Bobby if you can get paid for that AND get to perv, then you rock. No matter what happens, I'm sure who ever does it for BLUE is going to enjoy it quite a bit.

except i wouldnt look at the pics. i would just move them. you can open folders and have the view set to something that doesnt allow you to actually see the pictures.. i wouldnt look at any unless she gave permission. its just respect, not to mention professionalism.

Bobby helped us with our computer issues. Did a great job. Cleaned up unwanted programs, removed malware and viruses etc... We would trust Bobby with our computer again anytime!!! Pictures and all. Very reasonable pricing, and very timely as well. You won't go wrong having Bobby do work for you. Thanks again Bobby, we haven't had any issues since we brought he comp back home!
I have been in the computer business for 30 years. To me business is business and pleasure is pleasure and pleasure does not mix with business very well. Most people seem to get them confused. Personally I never charge good friends for working on personal computers but if they own a business I do charge for work on their business computer. I deal with corporations because most people would not pay what I am able to charge corporations for my professional services. I do not know him but he may be good at what he does and has the right to get paid reasonable rates for his knowledge.
I know that times are tight and if he wants to advertise as a person I see no problem in him doing it. But the way I read it the add section is for personal sales etc and that is what it should be kept for. Otherwise, business ads are all we will see here. If he has a business he should not be listing it here but in his profile. To me it is sort of an ethical issue but we all have our own ethics.

Good points by most. I don't see any issue in it, especially since everyone on this site is using a computer than can or will have issues at some point. Some are willing to pay for it for convenience, time, or not comfortable with knowledge how to keep computer organized correctly. If I had nude pics on my computer, history, or sites I thought might show up while work was being done on it, I would feel much more comfortable with an acquaintance on this site working on it than some PC shop with who knows what technician or how old he or she was would be working on it. I do all my own computer work, but think many on here might like the service if they knew who to call and it is available.
isn't this site to make friends and connections? Well if i can meet someone here that provides a service that i would pay twice as much elsewhere, i would be ecstatic if he or she posted an ad here. So classifieds are classifieds, business or personal. It you don't like it then stop reading...no one forced you to read his post. Stop being haters and move on.
