Oh ya, buy the way those of you that do shave, We use a "body bare" razor, once you get it shaved (traditional razor) then you can maintain easily and safely with the body bare electric razor. FWIW...
The thing with shaving down there is you have to do it almost every day or it doesn't build up the so called callus. The wife shaves hers almost every day and I shave my scrote and underside of the shaft. The hair above is kept trimmed short. The first time I shaved it I thought I would never do it again, but now I think there is no other way.

Personally I like shaved on a woman and at least neatly trimmed on men. I would like to try waxing but I have a very low threshold to pain so not sure I could deal with it so I shave everyday.

The perminent, and/or, dangerous STDs are viruses that can be transmitted this way--Hep a,b&c, HIV, and herpes... Shaving before sex in which you would use a condom for safty purposes decreases the condom's effectiveness. This is most true for men (think about it for a min).
