Another site we used to use has the same chat program as here.. one add on they have though shows the status of the member along with their location behind their name. We took a screen shot so that you could get an idea of what we mean. It is SOOOOO handy for those of us who are not in utah.. lol.. no offense meant for all you UT folks.. to be able to see if anyone in the room is local at a glance. Look to the right of the user names to spot the location info.
I agree and it would be nice if the stock photo icon showed a single male, female or couple symbol even if no photos are on board for that profile.
I think it would be nice if there was an easy option for couples to speicfy which one of them was sending the message. We like to both chat together, and it's confusing if one of us is typing and then the other one takes over.. or just has something to say to the situation. Perhaps have a way of selecting which person is sending the message and indicate that in the message. It would be SUPER cool if each of us could be logged into our own computers and be in the chat room at the same time without buying another account. Perhaps allow us to put our name after our handle... so it would read... Handle/Location/Name then the message. Just some idea's here. Seems like it would be useful for couples to chat.. especially with other couples, because it can be confusing when everyone has something to say.

Thanks so much for adding in the location in the chat... it is very nice for those of us not in utah to be able to spot someone closer to home. Can do it at a glance now and makes it much easier for us...

Any chance of getting a longer timeout on video chat? We were watching another couple getting it on in there, and they were turned on by being watched, but they had to re-set it 3 times, then eventually they were just too busy to reset it. Perhaps make a way for the user to specify what the timeout should be for the session if they wish to broadcast something they know will be un-attended past the normal time out.
