It seems most everyone agrees they don't like 'DRAMA'.
Good!
Except, what's drama?
Doesn't do any good to look it up in the dictionary, cuz it sure seems to be one of those "_______ is in the eye of the beholder" things.
Is 'quirky' drama? How about 'emotional'? The ever-popular 'self-absorbed'?
People have to be themselves, right?
If one happens to be a normally ebullient person, is that drama?
Is there such a thing as GOOD drama?
It seems rather curious. If a movie is described as dramatic, I want to see it. If someone says to me, "I just saw the most dramatic thing!" - I can't wait to hear the rest.
I'm sure someone must have the answer to this?
(by the way, I did look 'drama' up in the dictionary - didn't help)

When an adult throws a temper tantrum like that of a 3 year old, that to me, is drama out of control. No one wants to babysit a grown adult. My ex wife was a drama queen, and thats one of the major reasons she is now my ex wife..
Drama for us is the following:
1. a couple is fighting in front of you.
2. A couple has a major jealousey issue, one gets made because the other is getting some action.
3. People that bring tension into a party by demanding someone play with them, or gets made because no one wants to play with them
4. people that can't be honest with the people they are with.
5. the old kiss and tell people. for example, a couple hooks up and they did not have a good time, so they tell someone how bad they are. now they a looked at like they are bad in bed.
6. poor comunication. one person thinks their spouse is into the couple and they start to mess around, and it gets stopped because someone didn't talk it over.
just a few examples. grammer and spelling is not correct, live with it hee hee heheeheheh

"Dont bring your marriage issues into the lifestyle. This is not a legal way to cheat."
That sums it up best. The lifestyle is the opposite of cheating. It requires more trust and commitment than being vanilla.

Hmmmmm, lets see... was it the wife calling me a couple weeks later and demanding (yelling) to know "my intentions with her husband" then threatining to harm me if she "caught" us (even though there was nothing going on at all!)??
Or maybe the woman that stomped out yelling and screaming after giving my partner shit because she thought he was only interested in watching me and her partner?? Oddly, she came to that conclusion immediately after my partner just gave her what looked quite convincingly like a damn great oral orgasm!
I could go on... and on... there were men who freaked too but never quite as bad as the women!
If its not drama then we absolutely hate their personality!!! LOL

Like any word, it can have multiple definitions. Common sense would tell you that the word "drama" most people refer to when involved in the lifestyle, is of the negative type associated with relationships and sex. Besides you kind of answered your own "Is there good drama?" question. Are you just asking to hear yourself ask?
I would like to add that while a lot of people claim they hate drama, 99.999% of them like to witness it and/or cause it. Jerry Springer, Montel Williams, Maury Povich and reality-fuckin-tv wouldn't be so popular. People are addicted to it. I don't give a shit what anyone says. People just don't like to be on the receiving end.. Well some do. haha.

Right on TR, we like intense unbridled sex = good (positive) drama. (Guess were causing it - LOL)
We dont like fighting, stomping out and slamming doors = bad (negative) drama.
You drama maker - LOL.

Ask anyone that knows me, The Don, I am the biggest shit stirrer on the forums... Well I was anyway.
I know and I miss that. Where have you been lately? The entertainment (er' DRAMA) was great!
Seems that many, including myself, have "no drama" in our profile and I think that usually stems from going through a "learning" situation. Every experience we have had and will have is such a positive part of our life, we just want to focus on that. And due to this post, I have taken it out
I think there tends to be a lot of unique issues being in this "lifestyle." Yep I said it another word over used, and it does seem that there are just as many good aspects as there can be "learning" ones.
I think we all just need to stick to the positive and not the negative. Get it out of the forums, our profiles, chat, parties, etc.

If we feel the very essence of our energy being sucked from us simply by being around any specific individuals/couples and their baggage....more than likely there is "drama" involved.
Some people have bigger and more suitcases than others.
They are quite literally energy-vampires.

Drama to me is just another form of negativity and I look at negativity as a disease it just spreads and takes everyone in its path with it. We have met plenty of non drama people on here and some drama ones but its all about a great time. I do agree though with some above for sure that TRUST is the key word to this lifestyle. We are like parents gone wild now that our kids are grown we figure its our turn to have fun and thats what we are doing. DANG it I am babbling better go LOL

Great posts. The drama we don't want is the negativity, in particular the jealousy. We have met a few couples/singles that thrive on that kind of drama, it simply turns us off. Jealousy for us is real killer, hell we enjoy watching each other please and be pleased. It actually one of her favorite fantasies is to watch him with other women, and seeing her/ hearing about her with other men (or women) turns him on something fierce (2a, http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fierce ). We tell each other everything, but don't tell others about our encounters, that is a private thing between us.
