Are you still interested! - Dynamics amoung swingers - I wouldnt say the dynamics of our friendships changes so we arent interested in swinging any longer with friends we have made, maybe just we go through stages where we dont want to share each other for awhile, or we dont feel as playful as we do other times. Like some of you, I am sure, life just gets busy and there are better things to do and worry about. We think it is nice to have friends that we can play around with when everyone is in the mood for it, but that we can all just hang out without the pressure lerking behind that you need to play at the end of the night......that isnt what we want out of this.
Dinner party - - We would love to attend a classy party so tired of the stand around slamming drinks with people type party. I think the wife and I would be more inclined to enjoy a touch of class and I know from there things could become more and as for fun oh HELL yes!!!! Again anymore the lifestyle has become a fuck fest and that is a major turn off for most. Sorry the pressure to play is become a game of who can fuck who, rather than lets meet people for long term friendships who enjoy the benefits of possible play. I guess that was the point. What does religion have to do with swinging? Are you not seeing how many of the flock or "birds of a feather" have strayed from the traditional path of christianity? A path that the christian bible forbids. It's perfectly understandable that your post would cause such a conversation to occur.
Don't get me wrong. I am in no way judging you. I am just saying that I can see how some would question your loyalty or dedication to a religion that strictly forbids adultry. I could give a fuck, because that is up to the individual and their deity or dogma. I don't think it is for anyone to judge, just as you should be comfortable with no one taking your dedication to the faith seriously.
The bottom line really is, do you care what others think? If not, why try and find commonality in "back sliders" amongst swingers? Do you need the comfort of others that are taking the same journey away or astray? I think those are the questions that peak when these types of threads are born. Again, I really could care less about the level of your faith. As I am in no way a religious person.

So far, it does not look like there are any groups going to HEDO11 during the months of May or June of '08, but I guess we will have to wait and hope.

Who started it? - Who/How/How long? - Before we were in the lifestyle, we went to Hedonism. Nothing happened, but it started an itch that I knew I had to scratch one day if I could convince my wife. Years later at a vanilla party with friends and being drunk, I inadvertently mentioned we went to Hedonism. Our best friends picked up on that and asked if we were swingers. To our astonishment, they told us that they were in the lifestyle and encouraged us to consider it. A few months later, the wife and I went to Sea Mountain in Palm Springs and I told her that I wanted to watch her have sex with another guy. Later that day, she introduced me to a guy and stated that he would be the guy she would have sex with. So, it happened and I loved it. I told my friend who then helped me set up a profile on a swingers website and shortly afterwards, we met another couple from it for our first couples experience. The rest is history. BTW, that initial profile has undergone 1000 revisions as our strict rules were eventually eliminated. Haha!
