Newbie "outdoorsy" couple interested in the softer side. - Wish to develop a friendship with another couple in S ID, N UT -
What, specifically, feels intimidating? Or perhaps a better question would be what do you fear? Are you afraid that one of you will fall in love with a playmate and leave the marriage? Or that one or both of you will like swinging too much and become big ole sluts? LOL Or maybe you're afraid of contracting a horrific sexually transmitted disease and your junk will fall off? *grin* Most of us are TERRIBLY bad at risk assessment and more often than not we fear things that are statistically FAR less likely to happen than things we don't seem to fear all that much. Some people won't fly in planes even though they are FAR less likely to die in a plane crash than driving their car to Walmart. And many swingers are deathly afraid of getting AIDS even though it's really quite hard to contract compared to, say, HSV, which most adults have actually already been exposed to. Identifying why you're intimidated might be a better use of your time than trying to find a needle in a haystack. But in the end, do what you're comfortable doing. If you think finding another newbie couple is the least intimidating way to dip your toes in then, by all means, do that. Those of us who have been around the scene for a while, however, could tell you some of the drawbacks to meeting people who are newbies. Personally, we would seek out a more experienced couple, albeit one who is NOT pushy and is willing to go at your pace and is looking for friendship more than sex. The reason I say that is if things DO turn sexual, a more experienced couple is less likely to freak out or have other issues that they haven't already dealt with. Either way, good luck.
Damn! You must be like an intuitive or something. Yes, my biggest fear is my wiener falling off...and then, my libido cruelly kicking into overdrive. Can you imagine???!!!😳 I believe my use of "intimidating" was a little off. How about nervous? You know...a little jittery, some anxiousness, and excitement all rolled into one...sorta what you'd feel if you were a beginner.😉 Re HIV/AIDS: Looking at the statistics doesn't comfort me in the context of hard core LSing. Now, I could mentally reshape those numbers to suit my desires but...really, it's of no concern to me as we're not interested in the harder side of things. Thanks for your input. I have made a few adjustments to my post and our profile.

western slope colorado swingers - trying to find fellow swingers - 2013?

Wannabes and net fakes - Will the real lifestyle members please stand up - How many of you have taken the time to examine just how many of the coined and meaningless profiles there are on the net in general, not just here on this site. We have been in the lifestyle as life as allowed for over 25 yrs. Long before the introduction of the net. Now it seems the lifestyle as an entire new perspective. Lets see we have who knows how many version of "swingers" Hard, soft, mild, wild, interested, looking for, etc etc. That said and in consideration of all of these well coined and copied versions, I have a suggestion for one, HOW ABOUT "REAL" Real replies to emails or messages, Real arrives for scheduled meetings, Real post genuine pictures, Real is proud of their gender and does not have to "fake" another's, Real would never open a dialogue with "interested what are you looking for", Real has actually either involved themselves in the lifestyle or at the least have a genuine desire to physically do so, not play games. And finally, "Real" respects others by being real in person, on the net and or the phone, Give it a try people, you may find this lifestyle very interesting by being "Real"

Xmas carols for swingers. - - Damnit! What Will Santa Clause Say

Same Sex Marriage - If you support - Wow, What a controversial topic I guess. Listen, We all have our own preferences. That is why most of us are here, no? I don't think any of us should be against same sex marriage just because it isn't the norm. If it's not for you then so be it. You don't have to agree with it. Doesn't make it wrong for someone else. A lot of people don't like swingers. I think we have had post about an entire religious organization trying to stop swing clubs recently, but that doesn't make our lifestyle choices wrong either. Tolerance is key here guys. It's not right for me either but I support those who it is right for. I see no reason the govn' or anyone else should impose on their rights to happiness anymore than anyone should stop any of us from swinging. Now for those breaking out the scripture talk, WTF? Let's leave that kind of stuff at church. I am sorry but we dont see any point to that at all. Maybe it was a sarcastic remark and if so I misunderstood and I appollogize. One more thing, "I don't at all. Long story short I ran into a girl I went to high school with. A night before my younger brother. Who deals dope and has snorted coke. That isn't the point. The point is Josh asked her if she wanted to get high with them since it as the night before his wedding. She didn't becuase we were fucking. LOL. Anyway, a couple weeks later we hung out a couple times. She got drunk and mad at me. And felt it was a good time to inform me that there were a couple gay guys that were friends of hers. Telling people I have AIDS in my home town. Never ever once bashed a gay guy, never even been mean to one. Maybe I should have. I have a little brother that went gay. That doesn't change the fact that he pops pills and is a pot head. I went to Claion University of PA for a year. The KDR's aske d me to pledge thier Frat. Spent the first semester pledging. In december right before Christmas break. I was at a party at an apratment that was being used by a couple KDR's. Anyway, the conversation led to ex-girlfriends. One of the brothers asked me to come into his bed room. Cause he said he knew the girl I was talking about. There wasn't a chance he knew her. Anyway, He told me I was thier favorite pledge. Lit a match held it infront of me then asked me to count to ten backwards. After i did that he blew out the match. then held a Cross on a chain in front of me and recited the Greek alpha bet. then snapped his fingers. he sat down on the bed looked me in the eye and said he knew the girl I dated in high school. That he could tell me how to contact her. All I had to do was suck him off. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.. I laughed at him. funny thing was the big titted blonde that was dating one of the cooler brothers. Was leaning against the door when I walked out. She was to drunk to get out of the way when I walked out of the room. There is another story I have that involes one of the KDR brothers and his girl friend and me. I am not going to bore you but if you want to know I can tell you all about it. Think about that before you sign this petition. And don't get me wrong, As long as we have the constitution in this country then the government has no right to tell us how to live our personal sexual lives." Seriously, WTF are you talking about. Maybe I am just completely retarded but I don't understand a single point you were trying to make here.

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - I think age is only a number. What matters the most is if you get along with the other couple and can see your self with them in that way ;)

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News -
Just watched the story on the news and was EXTREMELY relieved it wasn't aired on a Get Gephardt segment. LOL Yeah, so the lady in question said she decided to swing with her husband to save her marriage after she gained a lot of weight (guess swinging is easier than a diet or taking up jogging) and that they went to "orgies" all over Utah...naming several cities and "even Bountiful" (the story showed the Bountiful temple a few times during the piece- she said being a Mormon she felt very uncomfortable swinging in a home within view of the temple). She also claimed that she was a a house party and the hosts young kids walked in. She says she started drinking because going to parties she felt like she was in the 5th grade where you wouldn't be chosen for a team...her husband was chosen to play but she wasn't. She has to go to rehab for her drinking. Eventually she wanted to quit but her husband supposedly refused and started going out solo and gave her gonorrhea. They are now divorced. Heidi Hatch was the reporter and apparently she started a profile and was communicating with couples here on Singular (yes, they identified Swingular by name and showed numerous screen shots and even some profile names) who wanted to make sure swinging wasn't portrayed in a purely negative manner. They alos had a marriage and family therapist who talked frequently throughout the story. Here is the link to the story on the KUTV website. Oh, and they mention Habits and Club 90. Swinging Story
Admit it, you'd love to see a Get Gephardt story on Swingular. {Serious consumer protection music fades in and then out again.} Man in silhouette - "I was promised loads of free and easy nookie, a lifetime of it! And at a low, low price. All I got was pictures of dicks even uglier and wrinklier than my own. And this Heidi lady who never even showed up!" {Gephardt nods w/ an empathetic brow furrow.} "We reached out to the owners of the website for their side of the story; we'll update you when they reply." {Gephardt grows old over the following decades and eventually dies of old age before owners reply.}

lost with people - florida wanna be swingers - As so many have already mentioned, MANY advertise and MANY state they are wanting to meet other people but when it comes time to walk the talk is when you find out there is a lot of wanna be's and BS out there. We changed our ad to be very blunt but it helps keep away those who are seeking additional photos, or those who just want to email to death and seem to never want to chat on the phone or meet in person. We think this is another reason some people don't post a picture, or post a picture showig them with another couple. We respect privacy, but you can block out eyes, faces or do a few things with the photo that still allows others to get a pretty good idea what you look like without giving away who you are. Then there are the cases where all of a sudden your picture shows up as being the wife on some elses profile! The lifestyle is truly a wonderful way to live. For those of us who live this way of life, finding other real people is always a hunt. But when you do finally meet someone you click with - the magic truly begins. We would think Florida would be better than where we live (Montana), but I think no matter where you live you will run into fakes, liars, wanna be's, cheats and all out BS. Good luck to you in your search and we hope things get better for ya.

Best way to get started? - - We just take the attitude that if somebody recognizes us, that means they have a paid subscription, because that's the only way they can view any pictures other than the main profile photo. So we keep our faces off that one, but we don't worry about our other public photos. If somebody we know says, "Hey, we saw you on Swingular!", our response would be, "Then you must be swingers, too. Care to meet up?".
