International Swingers Day - How are you celebrating? - How was it? We're thinking of going in the near future. Where y'all get a room at? Close by the club? I'm not familiar too much with slc. This is the Mrs. C btw 🙂
On Premise Swingers Club - SLC - We think there would be a big draw for a club like this. If it was ran right and people felt safe and privacy was still there.
Swingers cars??? - What ya driving?? - We don't live in Utah, but we do have a couple of corvettes! I have a '04 ZO6, black, and my wife has an '06 convertible, black, and we also have an Escalade EXT. We are members of the East Tennessee Corvette Club, and will be going to Bowling Green, KY the year to the museum, if you would like to see us there. I don't know which car we will drive, but we will be out for some FUN!!![em]Emo_29[/em]
First time stories, wanna share? - - Our first experience wasn't so great. There was mis-communcation, and it was fairly awkward. Actually, when my wife and I left the hotel in the morning, we decided swinging wasn't for us.
A few days later we decided not to let one experience be the final judgment. We joined Swingular and started talking to a couple that contacted us. My wife and I were a bit worried by their much higher experience level, but than we decided maybe that would be better.
We were right. They were nice and respectful and did a great job of making us feel comfortable, and we ended up having a really fun night with them. I think being with experienced swingers allowed us to just be ourselves and only have to concentrate on our own boundaries. If we had been with another newer couple, we'd all have to worry about going to far. We had a good enough night that we have kept in contact with them and continued to slowly check out the lifestyle.
We're still Soft Swap, and full swing couples have been really gracious to us, letting us join them and get a better idea of the lifestyle, and letting us get our feet wet, before diving in to the deep end. :)
We've had no bad experiences, but some could have been better if we had communicated on our end better. We're still learning how to do that.
Overall, these early experiences have been a lot of fun, and we're finding that easing into the lifestyle isn't as rocky as we feared. It's been a fun journey so far.
Swinger and/or Polyamorous FB Groups? - - I have heard there is a Utah swingers group but it’s a secret group so I’ve yet to find it. Essentially need to know someone in it in order to get in. Hopefully someone on here is in it!
Any Swingers out there? Golf swingers that is... - - Can I drive the cart...I tend to get distracted while playing games involving equipment long and hard. I don't play pool or baseball either. I will just be the ball girl. Wait. I'm not going all over chasing your balls. I will just hold onto the ones you're not using.

sh*t swingers say - to preach to the choir - Before 4am is so true. We've left several parties that started at 6 or 7 where nothing was going on by midnight only to hear about how everyone got naked around 12:15. Some of us old folks just don't handle late nights very well.
At what point do you out yourselves to family and friends?? - - Most of our long-term friends know we've always had an "open relationship" (and the guys are all jealous LOL), and a couple of my wife's close girlfriends know about the nature of the "clubs" we go to on weekends sometimes. (We've even managed to play with one or two of those friends ;) )
As for family, we'd never tell either side. Hers would have a real hard time I think, my siblings are younger than me but not kids anymore and probably wouldn't care. I'd say both sides would be comfortable with a "don't ask, don't tell" philosophy.
Just a comment on Dr. Ziggy's post - we're the "live & let live type," and we're not at all ashamed of what we do. We wouldn't care if the whole world knew if it didn't affect our lives, but the reality would be very different, I'm sure.
A new swing friend once asked how I'd feel if our kids became swingers one day. My response was that, if they were making a responsible decision when they did so, that I'd hope they find as much enjoyment in it as we have. He said that was the first time anyone had ever given him that answer, and it was the one he was looking for.
Ways to point out Swingers in public - - ^ all true, but if we see a black ring on a right hand AND a wedding ring on the left hand, we’re going to ask a few subtle questions to see if they are LS or not. It’s just for fun, chances are still low they are LS. As far as picking LS couples out...pre-LS we wouldn’t know what to look for but now it’s not that hard. Watch them at a club and you can often tell. It’s a fun game to play.
Swingers at work... - - My wife and I have had much the same experience. Recently, at my work a long time swing friend of ours that we had lost touch with (moved out of state) got hired to work at my company. At first I thought it could get a bit awkward, but it is all good. Luckily, our friend is very discreet and NEVER brings up anything about it at work.
In the past, we have had to deal with the indiscreet folks that want to babble on and on about this party and who they saw there, but we haven't had to deal with that in several years which is a great thing.
