we just wanted to make a quick comment on what a great bunch of people there are in this site. We've seen forums about this subject b4 and it never was pretty. This is nice to see.
Our only comment on this subject is... perspective, its all about your personal perspective. If you read the bible and take it word for word then no, you can't be a Christian and be in the lifestyle. For us (and we both have a very deep religious up bringing) we believe that if Christ taught us one thing, He taught us that our relationship with God, whatever, whoever that may be, is a very personal one. Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - Hmmm... to answer this one, I would like to use to terms.... LIFESTYLES and SWINGING.
Our hope is that we can be friends on a social basis with everyone we meet, but we all know that isnt very likely.... however, we love people that are in lifestyles. We enjoy the open minded attitude, some of the taboo humor, the opprotunity to let down some of our inhibitions and just have alot of fun. Thats something that we cant really do with the people we associate with at work, at home, in our neighborhood and our family members for various reasons. The people that we just love to get nasty and sexual with. Some of the friendships we have fit in both areas and some never cross the line.
We have found that the best relationships we have established can be both vertical and horizontal. We love to travel with our friends in lifestyles.. attend biker rallies, dine, dance, bowl or just sit around watching a good movie or playing any of several video games. We have invited many of these people to our home to bbq, meet the family, just hang out and pass some time.

Ways to point out Swingers in public - - We picked up the rings from Amazon a couple of years ago and where them when we go out. We have never been approached or any reaction from anyone. It use to be a bigger thing a few years back we heard.
Swingers cars??? - What ya driving?? - So we're just curious what everyone is driving. We've met some couples lately who ironically have the same or similar taste in cars. Finding Connections - Do the majority of swingers wait to be approached? - The connections we have mainly made have been though partys we have found here.
