Denver. what to do? - Headed to Denver next week, what must duo's are there? - I've lived on and off in Boulder/Denver for over 12 years and I can tell you the LS scene is booming! Yes, The Ranch (scarlet ranch) is great but you have to pay to get in and it's best when there's an event like NYE or a foam party (those are great!) I would get on scarletlifestyle.com, which is their companion site kind of like Swingular. There you can meet people in the area and see what events are going on at the Ranch while you're there. So the joke in Denver is...if you go to Highlands Ranch (SW Denver) and you see white rocks in the front yard then they are swingers. Denver, or to be specific, Highlands Ranch, is home to the largest swinger/lifestyle community in the country so enjoy! For fun, Shotgun Willie's (Glendale) and La Boheme (downtown Denver), both strip clubs, are fun and fillup with LSers on Friday and Saturday nights. Black Ring - Who has theirs and how have they caught on? - It's a numbers game... Less than a tenth of 100th of a percent of the population of Utah is into swinging..... You may wear it for YEARS before someone notices.. (Just like the odds of running into a swinger at the grocery store are ridiculously slim).
Odds go up significantly if you wear them to places where swingers are likely to be (Habits on a Friday night, for example).
Age quesiton - Do swingers of the same age group swing together? - We try to meet everyone, we have met alot of people that are close to our age, some are awesome and we clicked with on more than one level and others not at all. When we first signed up we put noone over the age of 30, then it changed to 35, then 40, and now we have no preference. We have found though that most people older than us are more mature and settled. Not everyone of course and I'm not trying to be rude but that's just what we have noticed. We do not always play with everyone we meet just those that we all connect in some way and as long as it's what everyone wants. Some of the people we have met on here we have never played with but they are some of our best friends now and at the same time some people we have played with we havent spoken to since we played. Just depends with everyone I guess.

LDS Survey Results - - Wow.... just wow. I would have hoped that since we have all made the decision to swing and embrace the lifestyle, that people would be accepting of one another. Does it really matter if someone is Mormon? Is it truly necessary to bash someone's religion to that extent? There should be no place or tolerance for that here. My husband and I are active LDS, and I am not ashamed to say so. We both attended BYU and we have no guilt. We took a marriage prep class in college and the teacher told us that whatever happens in the bedroom stays in the bedroom. As long as both parteners are comfortable with what is going on and nobody is being degraded, it's all good. We view extra partners as a sex toy... nothing more. We keep our lines of communication open, we only play when our marriage is strong and we are not having any disagreements. It has actually saved our marriage and we are doing better than we ever have before. We both hold prominent callings in our ward.
I thought this survey was very interesting... we haven't had much opportunity to meet other LDS swingers in so.cal (though we hear they do exist), so seeing the experiences and beliefs of others elsewhere is very nice.
Cuckolding - - Enjoying seeing one's wife/partner have sex with another man (despite the definitions one usually finds in the vanilla world) doesn't reach the level of what true cuckolding is or has come to mean, especially in the context of the lifestyle. While there definitely IS a small subset of swingers who enjoy cuckold-type play it often involves more of a humiliation vibe directed towards the husband and sometimes even some bondage as well, i.e. husband tied up and "forced" to watch wife fucked by a more virile man, etc. while being told how inadequate, small, unmanly he is compared to the "bull".
This misconception of mainstream swinging denoting a cuckholding component for married male swingers is not only way off the mark but it's also a little dangerous in that it far too often gives a very false picture of what the scene actually is to many single males who then treat women/couples accordingly. This, in turn, perpetuates the stereotype of the single male who doesn't really "get" what the scene is about and leads to trashing ALL single males.
We've been AMAZED over the years at how many single males think that married male swingers are cucks when that couldn't be further from the truth.
