Hedonism, Tempations, Sandals, or others? - - Our vote is Desire RM (there are two Desire's in Cancun, Pearl and RM). The best part about Cancun is you can fly direct from SLC and it's a fairly short inexpensive flight so your vacation is at the resort and not in airports like you have to do to get to Hedo. We're members at RM and if you book any of the three resorts (Temptation, RM and Pearl all owned by the same group) book it through a member as you'll get some perks you wouldnt otherwise get Pearl is a nicer, smaller resort with extremely large rooms, a massive pool and massive hot tub with a laid back vibe. Its a bit more expensive than RM and it tends to lean to a bit older crowd than RM. If you want to relax in a clothing optional resort (pretty much everyone is nude except at dinner and then the parties at night) this is your best choice. RM is a party all day and all night, the rooms are really small unless you upgrade to a suite. The Pool is really small for the amount of people and the hot tub is tiny. Because it has twice as many rooms as Pearl you have more folks to meet and party with. The crowd is younger and stays up all night long. If you're looking to really party at a clothing optional (pretty much everyone is nude except at dinner and then the parties at night) resort this would be our choice. Temptation is the least expensive of the three and it's a topless resort. The amount of swingers at this resort is the least of the three. You will find lots of folks just dipping their toes in the water here. It also allows single people to come so you'll find single guys at this resort where Desire is couples only. They've recently remodeled it and we've been told good and bad since the remodel. If you're not a swinger or just testing the water this is the resort we'd go to. Poly-Swingers - Moving beyond FWB relationship - I would like some input from any couples who have chosen to move beyond a FWB relationship into a Polyamourous relationship. New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - Davidandmarie, I don't think it is a legal issue, I think it is more of an issue of not knowing for certain if the concept would fly and have enough attendance to justify the massive expense in opening one up. Herwoody801, A dance floor is something we were planning, but we would want it in a separate area so there were still areas where people could chat without loud thumping music in their ears. Wildfire, Being super private, discreet, and extremely safe is something that would be our top priority. We have no desire to have our sexuality on display for the rest of the world either. I am considering making it a private club, which it would probably have to be for legal purposes, and we would have to create some kind of vetting process where you can only become a member if you know a member who can vouch for you, type of thing. That way we can make sure that everyone who is showing up is someone who is either part of the lifestyle already or seriously considering to be part of it. The last thing we want is to have "outsiders" coming just to gawk and potentially cause problems. Additionally, cameras and cell phones would have to be left upon entrance so there would be no risk of cameras on site that could compromise the privacy of the guests. Travel and first time - - I completely understand how she feels. And just for what it's worth, you two are at an age where a lot of couples head for divorce court anyway. There's no sense in driving in that direction if you don't have to. So, in my opinion, if you communicate really well, and are just looking for a little bedroom spice once in a while, going where you're unlikely to build a relationship isn't a bad idea.
