Obama's Roadtrip - -
Fair enough. Then why rely on them for anything that likely wasn't adequately studied?
Likely just does not do it for me...When the numbers are given AND shown how they were gathered, I tend to believe they are fairly accurate.
Let's take your Pepsi/Coke example. There is likely nothing befuddling about your scenario. Just one possibility: Where are the two Florida products bottled? Maybe it's the water.
Both bottled locally, it is chalked up to being a preferance thing. In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. If someone in the south offers a Coke, it could be Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Rite, Sam's Club Soda, etc.
I'm glad you agree with the logic. My Bachelor's is in Social Welfare (Psych Minor). Human nature is only a bitch of a thing when you get out there a few standard deviations. The bulk of us are as predictable as rats.
Believe it or not, I have 2 BA's (econ and int. rel.) with a minor in social work. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Try being the ONLY conservative in all the social work classes, it was fun! Then again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I propose that as an economist you are simply looking at things with a limited perspective.
Possibly, but I also have a rare ability to look at it from an outsider's view....
There is simply no question that if a person's basic needs (food and shelter) are met, there is less motivation to risk the consequences of violating societal rules.
I can see the logic of this, however, we are Americans, we always want MORE, we are constantly bombarded with images of MORE, we are constantly told that without MORE we are incomplete, etc. What are the consequences of violating societal rules? Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!

Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - Oh, I didn't know the OP meant this literally. Yes, we've actually seen quite a few dead and dying swingers by the side of the road especially up around Lava Hot Springs. I think it's probably something in their environment. Maybe ingesting too much nonoxynol-9 or those weird little meatballs in Crockpots you see at most swing parties. Next time we see one we're gonna take it home and try to wash some of the spooge off it's coat with some Dawn dishwashing liquid and nurse it back to health with copious amounts of Red Bull and Jager shots. Black Rings - Do Swingers really? - These are the only black rings that we're aware of that give you slightly more than a 50% probability of identifying a swinger. Swingular Mobile Update - Details about our latest release for phones and tablets and other mobile devices. - This morning, we finally launched the long awaited mobile version of Swingular. In this email, we wanted to give you details about the process and why it has taken us so long to get here. We also want to talk about the features and what you can expect going forward. HISTORY As most of you know, Swingular has been around since 2001. It was started in Florida by me and a partner as Playful Swingers and I was the sole architect and coder. Swingular was custom built from the ground up. After a year or so of tremendous success, we didn't see eye to eye and decided to legally split off into two separate entities, Playful Swingers & Swingular. After many years, Playful Swingers went out of business but Swingular continued to grow. Around 2004 and 2007, I rewrote Swingular and gave it new looks. Over the years, we have changed a few things here and there, but most of the underlying code has remained the same. Well, a lot has changed in the world since 2007 and mobile devices have become a bigger source for accessing websites. In 2007, Swingular was great for it's time and for desktop users. In 2016, not so much. In 2012, we decided we needed to make Swingular mobile. After looking at our competition, we noticed they made their existing sites work with mobile but the experience was horrible. Sometimes you were taken to a non-mobile version so you never knew what you were going to get. That wouldn't be good enough for us so we decided that we were going to build our mobile site from the ground up. As we started working on it, technology was constantly changing. Being perfectionists, we kept restarting the project to adopt these new technologies to the point that we could never finish anything. Then we handed Swingular off to another owner and you know what happened there. After getting Swingular back in our hands late last year, we made it our goal to finally get the mobile version built from the ground up and here we are. CHALLENGES We started building this version of the mobile site back in October of last year. The challenges we faced were that we had to convert our technology stack to work with both the old version of the site as well as the new one. This is what took most of our time and what you probably have noticed the last 6 or so months. Once our technology stack was overhauled, we began designing the user interface. Again, this was a challenge because we wanted to support all devices out there, from iPhones, to Androids to Windows Mobile as well as all the tablets. So we had to make sure that everything looked good not only by device, but by screen size. Being that Swingular is custom built, we didn't want to use popular UI frameworks like Bootstrap so that we didn't look like everything else out there. So we had to design our UI to be unique to us. The most important and final challenge was making sure that the mobile site was safe and secure. We didn't want to release a half baked app just to get it out quickly only to find that we had a huge security hole. Your safety and security is our number one priority. After getting through the bulk of issues, we felt it was finally time to release our first beta version of the site with features that would showcase this new look. FEATURES To get a mobile site out in a timely fashion, we decided to use an agile development process which basically means we would create a basic working website, release it, then continually add features as we went along. We sent out a survey to our members to ask what they felt was most important in a mobile site and we took that to decide what was necessary to release our first version. Since we already have a website that is somewhat usable for everybody, we decided based on your feedback that sending and receiving messages, as well as viewing profiles and photos would be the first features to release. Then every two weeks, we would release 1 or more new features. WHAT'S NEXT Now that we finally have this up and running, we will be working on bug fixes as well as introducing features. We will send out bi-weekly updates so you know what's available. We ask that you understand that this is only a beta version of the site and you will most likely experience bugs or issues. However, we have added a Bug Report/Feedback tab so you can report them and we can get them fixed quickly. FEEDBACK The great thing about building this system on an agile development process is that if we need to add, change or remove something, we easily can. So if you have any feedback or suggestions, it is always welcome and we will take it in consideration. Thanks for your patience and we hope that we can provide you with the best mobile experience ever. Enjoy, Robert

Any Swingers out there? Golf swingers that is... - - Wish I was there in Utah. Would love to join in for a few rounds. When I lived in Phx. I had a pal who was had a open relationship. Winner got the wife after the round. She loved the exhibition trophy sex.

What's the universal swinger signal? - How can you spot a swinger?? -
As T4REAL69 has already said, this is an old topic that's been hashed and rehashed here on the Forums more times than any of us can count. And I always answer the question the same way. How can you tell if someone is a Swinger? "If you look over in the other bed, and see a man fucking your wife, while you're fucking his, there's a pretty good chance they're Swingers."
hahahahaha BTW I thought sharing is caring was a swinger saying.... if not then I'm suggesting it and printing it on tshirts and vinyl this weekend for cars/whatever... let me know if you want any and I'll get with you on the prices...

We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Thanks WEFLY !!!! You two are one of many other couples we have met that are fun and drama free. Looking forward to more fun in the near future! xoxoXXX

Hello summer - Swingers couple party - Thank you.

Swing Camp (7/15 - 7/17) - Swingers Campout in Birch Creek Idaho - "This one time at Swing Camp..." Do you know how you would complete this sentence? No? Well, come join us for the 1st Annual Black Ring Society of Idaho Swing Camp and let's make some naughty and sexy memories that we can use to complete that sentence! We are going to host a swinger's campout at Birch Creek Campground (north of Mud Lake on ID-28, more information below) on the weekend of July 15-17. We have reserved Group Site #4 for this event. This is going to be a group event with an admission fee of $15 per person (collected in cash at the event). The admission fee will cover the cost of the campground, the large 6 foot grill that we are going to provide for those tent campers who need something to cook on, and other supplies that we will help provide. The area we have reserved does not have a LOT of privacy, but we plan to bring several tarps that we can hang up between campers or in other ways to help us provide additional privacy for the things that we would like to do during this event. There is also not going to be a lot of shade other than that which we provide, so if you have a pop-up canopy you can bring, it will surely come in very useful. The campsite is about a quarter mile from the main road and we plan to use campers in a way to block access to the campsite from onlookers. The site is plenty big enough for quite a few campers, so feel free to bring them with the knowledge that there are no hookups there, so this will be dry camping for those bringing their campers. Additionally, if you have them, feel free to bring ATVs because there places to ride up in the area. There is also no place to harvest firewood up there, so be sure to make arrangements for that. We don't really want to plan a lot of group activities because we want members to have the freedom to do what they wish, but here is what we have planned so far. On Saturday morning, Saturday night, and Sunday morning, we are planning to have a group potluck type of cookout where we will provide a grill to cook what you bring. Depending on how we can arrange things while we are there, we think it would be a great idea for the guys to cook the Saturday night meal nude (or as nude as they feel comfortable) and have the girls cook the Sunday morning meal nude (or as nude as they feel comfortable). Saturday night we have a few group games that we will play with those who are interested. Campsite Information: 1) Birch Creek Campground website: http://www.blm.gov/id/st/en/visit_and_play/places_to_see/upper_snake_field/Birch_Creek_Campground.html 2) Directions to the campsite: Birch Creek is 66 miles from Idaho Falls (I-15 Exit 116): 1. Take I-15 North to Exit 143 for ID-33 2. At the end of the off-ramp take a left on ID-33 towards Mud Lake. 3. Just after you go through the bustling metropolis of Mud Lake (don't blink of you might miss it), take a right ID-28. 4. 24.5 miles down ID-28, you will see a sign on the left hand side of the road for the Birch Creek Recreational Area - Middle Access (attached to this post). 5. Take a left on to the Middle Access road to the Birch Creek Recreational Area. 6. 0.3 miles down the road, you will come to a fork in the road (the 2nd picture). 7. Take a left at the fork and you will see the sign (on the right) for Group Site #4. 8. Someone from the group will be at the fork to check you in, so be looking for that. Things to bring (other than normal camping supplies and equipment): 1) $15 per person for admission. 2) Food for your consumption keeping in mind that we will provide a grill for cooking 3) Firewood 4) Pop-up canopy or extra blankets to be used for privacy and/or shade Even though we KNOW this campsite may not necessarily be ideal for this event, this is the site that we have chosen and reserved, so we plan to make the best of it and we hope that you will be able to join us for this event and have some outdoor fun with us.
