Ldscouple74 - Are there any active LDS couples here - Yup, there are. We know several. We were actually sort of semi-active back when we started (And of course lied thru our teeth during bishop interviews.LOL). And we've known at least half a dozen couples over the years who were outed (Usually by other swingers who for some reason decided they needed to confess or were pissed because someone stopped fucking them and decided to "name names".) and exed. :-( This reminds us of one of our fav swinging stories. We knew a couple who LOVED to party. Almost every single Sunday, after having a LOT of sex Saturday night, they sent us a text to tell us they felt guilty and were quitting the lifestyle. And almost every single Wednesday or Thursday we'd get ANOTHER text asking us where the parties were for the coming weekend. LOL! The vent! - Judgements, I'm so tired of them. - In the recent years I have changed, morphed even, into the person I am today. A swinger. Eccentric, confidant, secure, uninhibited, with a puissant sexuality. What I consider "out of the box!" Open, understanding, diverse. Only within the last year have we dared to call ourselves "swingers" we decided together to change our lifestyle, to change our rules, to change our minds about how we regard each other as individuals. What I have noticed as I have taken this quest into being a swinger, is how the people in and around my life are noticing this change, and reacting with judgements. They live by different rules than I do, they choose to, and yet they still judge. Are these people just unhappy with themselves? Are they jealous? Why are they concerned? I have failed to understand this. Why do they spew hate at me?(I call it emotional vomit) Shouldn't they be happy for me? If these people are already having averse feelings about me and/or my behavior, how will they react to find out we are swingers? I now know why some of swingers only associate with other swingers. Odd pattern. - Why the interest/disinterest? - I'm not surprised to see mentions of homophobia and haste in filling out the profile as possible reasons; I hadn't thought of the male ego being so driven as to ignore disinterest from gay women. Yet that ego can't be reasoned w/ when the interested person's equipment matches the imagined ideal but the original birth certificate does not, even when reproduction is not on the table. As Terry pointed out above, every blastocyst starts out female and slightly less than half mutate into males as they become fetuses. AHARLEYCPL, not only is hate mail unwarranted, I'm personally pleased this discussion, for all its potential thorns, hasn't disintegrated into discriminatory ugliness like it would on some sites where the membership is more mainstream; I think it's b/c swingers already think outside the societal norms when it comes to expressing sexuality and have more of a 'live and let live if no one gets hurt' mentality. Being a swinger isn't about thoughtless sex, it's about even more thoughtful sex and this discussion shows that. :)

When age matters.... - - We started playing in our mid twenties and have always had chemistry test rather than an age test. Now that we are in the more "experienced" group of swingers we still use the same chemistry test. We have also noticed that, with a few exceptions, most people we meet at house parties are pretty much the same. Am I hot or not.... - - :s Another SM looking for attention. What is this site coming to? I have not had a problem with the overly generous tolerance of SMs on this site, but lately it seems like SMs are getting out of control. If you have ever been to a nice swinger club in Florida, you will see the difference between Friday (SMs welcome) and Saturday nights (couples only). The reason: the SM "Towel Sharks" circle around the play areas looking to watch couples and maybe even get some for themselves. Sometimes the SMs get so aggressive with the couples, it often creates conflicts and drives couples away. On this site we are all supposed to be nice to the SMs and not bash them. I understand the need to be civil and respectful to everybody. I also know many of the couples here enjoy hooking up with SMs (we are guilty of that multiple times ourselves). Of course, many SMs are nice guys who lay low and don't cause problems. Having said that... This post, the Mr. "Save-A-Life" post, and all the other stupid SM "Look at ME" posts, are really screwing this site up. In our book (and probably the majority of other reasonable people's opinions) SWINGERS are "couples" looking for other "couples". Sure swinger couples often look for a single to join, but its usually a female (highly prized) and not a male (over supply). SMs are not swingers. They are looking for some poontang and all too often they assume that swingers have loose women to share with them. Come on guys... get your own girl and THEN join the party. Hanging around here, perving on pics, and hoping for some strange, does not make you a SWINGER! With an over-supply of SMs, they have to resort to aggressive self-promotion in order to get noticed. This silly thread here is another example of that. Come on people. Its time to stop "feeding the cats".
