Utah Meetup group - - So ive been asked to post my thoughts to get people more active and going to meet and greets. This is somewhat of a copy/paste of what ive said before: Events that have requirements or have an adventurous nature get alot of responses and lots of people going. One thing on these meet and greets is the incredibly shy new comers. The hard thing is getting people actually meeting and separating the cliques. So one thing ive thought about is having a meet up where everyone is required to introduce themselves to at least 10 new people before the meet and greet concludes. The greeting must include your name, age, years in the LS, what your looking for(another couple, single(m/f)), a fantasy, etc just stuff like that. For some telling a new couple you enjoy watching your spouse get fucked by someone you just met might seem awkward, but its less so when its instructed as part of a greeting. Plus Reminding everyone your all SWINGERS, this is the point anyways lol. Your not meeting a random person, your meeting a swinger whose there with intentions the same as you! Even like adding a fun after party thing like a Meet and Great Score that people get to post on the forums after the M&G which everyone gets to see just how involved people were and to improve it for the next one. New to this all - - Single guys donn't exactly have a easy time of it in the swinging world. It's made up mostly of couples with the occassional Unicorn (single female), and many couples have a "we're trading, but you're not providing the female part of the trade" attitude, which goes all the way back to when what is now called swinging was called wife swapping. And the vast majority of couples who are interested in inviting a single person to play with them are looking for a female, not a male. There just aren't very many people looking for a single male, and there are tons of them looking to be involved. So the numbers are against you. Besides that, it's hard for a single male to meet people. They're allowed to attend only a very, very few parties and/or events unless they have a female with them. Even the male half of a known swinging couple often isn't welcome if the female half isn't with him. He may be in a couple, but withput the woman he's just another single guy. Your best chance at someone being interested in you is online at a site like this. But, again, there are gazillions more single males than there are people looking for them, so the competition is pretty tough. To be a "winner", you usually need to be relatively young, pretty good looking, and fairly fit. So if you want to generate any interest, you have to post pics. And while nudes are a good idea if you hsave the body for it, straight dick pics are not, unless it's 10 inches long or something. And even then it might be a turn off more than a turn on for lots of people. If you don't have any pics of yourself posted, those difficult odds you face morph into impossible odds. If you do manage to attend any parties or events, chill. Don't be aggressive. Single males have a rep for assuming any woman at a swinger's function wants to jump into the sack with them. NOBODY was going to ever answer any ad you put in the mag, so there wasn't any point in spending the big bucks on a Polaroid, and they didn't come out with cheaper ones that most people could afford until what, late '70s I think it was? (I wonder how many people on the site ever even saw one of those) Anyway,no need for a camera or a PO box for replies, there wouldn't ever be any replies. That "advantage" was offset big time by the fact that the only way you ever even knew about any gatherings, let alone got into them, was if someone knew you and asked you. Which hardly ever happened even if you knew a couple dozen swingers, like I did, because it WAS essentially wife swapping back then. Or if not full swapping, a sort of swapping with everyone in the same room So if you didn't have a lady with you, you had nothing to offer. Las Vegas - Las Vegas - We haven't been, but do have a weekend planned the first of May... Did extensive research on Red Rooster and Green Door... and they both look gross. Really gross. (Like, worn down, 70s style venue where you could probably get an STD from sitting on a chair). Wife saw the pictures, read the reviews, and refuses to go anywhere near them.
