Another SM looking for attention. What is this site coming to? I have not had a problem with the overly generous tolerance of SMs on this site, but lately it seems like SMs are getting out of control.
If you have ever been to a nice swinger club in Florida, you will see the difference between Friday (SMs welcome) and Saturday nights (couples only). The reason: the SM "Towel Sharks" circle around the play areas looking to watch couples and maybe even get some for themselves. Sometimes the SMs get so aggressive with the couples, it often creates conflicts and drives couples away.
On this site we are all supposed to be nice to the SMs and not bash them. I understand the need to be civil and respectful to everybody. I also know many of the couples here enjoy hooking up with SMs (we are guilty of that multiple times ourselves). Of course, many SMs are nice guys who lay low and don't cause problems.
Having said that... This post, the Mr. "Save-A-Life" post, and all the other stupid SM "Look at ME" posts, are really screwing this site up. In our book (and probably the majority of other reasonable people's opinions) SWINGERS are "couples" looking for other "couples". Sure swinger couples often look for a single to join, but its usually a female (highly prized) and not a male (over supply).
SMs are not swingers. They are looking for some poontang and all too often they assume that swingers have loose women to share with them. Come on guys... get your own girl and THEN join the party. Hanging around here, perving on pics, and hoping for some strange, does not make you a SWINGER!
With an over-supply of SMs, they have to resort to aggressive self-promotion in order to get noticed. This silly thread here is another example of that.
Come on people. Its time to stop "feeding the cats".
Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - Much of what has been said I agree with, but I do know poly couples in the lifestyle. Their swinging is a bit more complicated as far as the decision process because I would imagine that such a decision would need to be agreed upon by all partners involved.
The biggest difference I think between regular swingers and those who are involved in poly relationships is while most people who swing would shun the development of emotional ties to other swingers thinking it would be the doom of their spousal (primary) relationship, those who are also involved in or those who are open to the possibility of poly relationships would welcome the development of additional relationships for what they are knowing there is neither a need to replace their spouse or run off with the person they have formed this new relationship with. It does add further complication to their life, but it can also enrich it tremendously.

Bob's Burgers... - ....Lifestyle Friendly? :P - Anyone watch Bob's Burgers? I'm in love with that show (and just about any other show its creators come up with) and find it absolutely great that they have episodes about swinging. I forget the context of the first one, but Bob and his wife were at a party and were propositioned by another couple. The reality of it is this: Single Men tend to be pushy, arrogant, looking to "fuck your wife like you wish you could," and other various piggish things, HOWEVER, there are those, T4REAL is among them, that are swingers...The problem is that there are MANY of the former, and FEW of the later.
Between the insecurity, the preferences, and the assholes, it makes for an uphill climb for a single male.
The best advice I can give single males is this: DO NOT FEED THE STEREOTYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the profile says, NO SINGLE MALES...don't write...you are NOT special...If they respond negatively, do NOT write back and ask why or make a snide remark....Just let it go...
IF you are reading a profile and it says, "WE WILL CONTACT YOU" let them contact you...Come on...The profile says that for a reason...
Now...On to the clubs...Someone stated that they paid $70 to get into a club, but got laid with dinner and all for less...Sorry, but that sounds like prostitution...NOTwhat the lifestyle is about...Why do they charge more for single men? because the single man will pay it...They do not run a club as a "Lets get single men layed charity" it is a business...the sole purpose of a business is to make money...That whole discussion is the EXACT reason so many couples say NO SINGLE MEN...What a prick...If I were you, I would delete that piece...You will NEVER get laid with that type of shit floating around here...
Another reason single men are so frowned upon, how many times have you seen a profile with nothing but a dick picture?
