ksl - did you watch?? - I honestly don't think there should be too much concern that anyone is going to start 'searching' the internet to find out if they know anyone on sites like these. They are already 'disgusted' as it is and i'm sure they won't chance having a site like this 'appear' on their computer. I honestly think they made their opinions and judgements briefly as they watch the segment last night but it wasn't something that was powerful enough to cause much of a stir. After checking my access logs for the site as well as my placement ads on the search engines designed just for the state of Utah when someone does a search on the keyword 'swingers,' there was not even a substantial jump in numbers. There was actually less people who searched for that keyword as well as 'utah swingers' than any normal monday night or tuesday morning.
I honestly believe most people have already forgotten about it. But for those of you who want to take that extra precaution, it's totally understandable. I just don't think it's that big of a deal to anyone like we thought and if it is, not enough to get them to start searching the internet for it.

who's Online - - Just an FYI on this topic from the source. In response to MAYBEMOR's statement, we do not use deception, nor do we create fake profiles. We have never done that and never will. We've been around for 10 years, all the profiles you see are accumulative up to this point. Because most of the members are lifetime members, we are not obligated to remove inactive profile with lifetime membership status. However, we do remove non-lifetime, non-paying members after 6 months of inactivity.
How do you know we aren't creating fake profiles? You don't. You just have to take our word for it I guess. Being around for 10 years has it's privileges. For one, our member base is big enough that creating fake profiles doesn't do us any good. It would actually hurt us since nobody on the other end would be responding. Second, we are in the top 10 of all swinger related search results. We don't need to create fake profiles since we are getting tons of new members each day anyways. Just search for 'adult swingers' or 'swinger ads' on Google and see for yourself.
As for Who's Online, there is a 4 hour window from the last time you have any activity and then the system will delete you automatically. The way the internet works, there is just no true way to tell you are online without constantly hitting the server with requests which would end up slowing down the website for you and everyone else. So we keep you in the system just in case you are away from your computer and you still want people to know you are available. Thus the 4 hour window.
As for chat, if you see someone listed in the chatroom list before you open chat, it's because they probably logged out of chat but left the chat window open. The website and chatroom are on two different platforms and do not communicate with each other. We have to use the chat window as a mechanism to tell us who 'may' be in the chatroom. This system relies on the last person in the chatroom to clean out the database information for those that were in the chat room and since they are that last ones, it will keep them showing, even if they aren't there.
Also, if someone is in the chatroom and leaves for a moment, the chatroom will kick them out. Since the chat window is still open, it will show them on Swingular as in the chatroom.
So this isn't a matter of deceptive practices, it's a matter of mechanics.
Here's something Ive been curious about - - It seems like the lifestyle is no less judgmental than the vanilla crowd. Honestly we aren't here so we can wear the cool lifestyle team jacket nor get our super-secret swinger decoder ring (drink more Ovaltine and use a condom). It's kind of funny that the same group of people who get all bent out of shape at the vanilla community for labeling and judging us turn around and do it from within. If I missed some federal definition of the term swinger than perhaps I'm wrong, otherwise why waste a moment of time passing judgment on who gets deemed worthy of the sacred title? I would have to say the definition of a swinger is someone who says "hey, I'm a swinger!" Be honest, how many swinger couples do you know that never play? We forgo the silly social rules and regulations because we understand how much they confine society into little boxes of good and bad, right and wrong; and most of that is subjective moral hogwash. It's kind of discouraging to see members of a community that should be supporting one another pass judgment as to who is and who isn't. Being a swinger is a state of mind baby. Nobody can make you a swinger, nobody can take it away. So in closing to the single swingers out there I say...go swing you fricking swinging swingers you!!!

Adult pool - - Here is what I know.
Many years ago, a nudist club rented from a scuba shop on Highland Drive in SLC. Change of ownership killed that. Now the Wasatch Maturists will or do host a monthly swim at a scuba shop in Ogden. The group information is on their Facebook page.
We lucky souls of Southwest Utah have the club Southern Utah Naturist Society or SUNS. The club meets twice per month for a non-sexual nude swim in St. George. We have a Facebook page and maybe a web page. Also we can be found through the AANR web site.
The good news is that the owners of the pool are swingers and belong to this site, but I don't know their use name. They would love to host a play party anytime there is enough interest. Our first one had few attendees but was fun. You may contact me via this web site for more information.
