If your family or non swinging friends found out you swing - - Her mother knows and is totally cool with it, in fact she is usually the one to babysit for us, all she said was to be careful since problems can arise. His parents dont know as they are "card carrying" people so it would not go over well at all.
Most of our friends are swingers and people we have met from this site, but the ones that arent are fine with it - one day we will convert them lol.
Swinger Literature? - magazine articles, books, web articles... - As EdNBrenda said a very good book would be "The Lifestyle." It is a little bit dated but the book is research based and has a lot of interesting information from history to demographics. It is not a book to grab for raw excitement but a very good book for intellectual discussion. What makes it unique is the book seems very objective and was written by a non swinger doing his research as an observer of the lifestyle. First time stories, wanna share? - - Our first experience wasn't so great. There was mis-communcation, and it was fairly awkward. Actually, when my wife and I left the hotel in the morning, we decided swinging wasn't for us.
A few days later we decided not to let one experience be the final judgment. We joined Swingular and started talking to a couple that contacted us. My wife and I were a bit worried by their much higher experience level, but than we decided maybe that would be better.
We were right. They were nice and respectful and did a great job of making us feel comfortable, and we ended up having a really fun night with them. I think being with experienced swingers allowed us to just be ourselves and only have to concentrate on our own boundaries. If we had been with another newer couple, we'd all have to worry about going to far. We had a good enough night that we have kept in contact with them and continued to slowly check out the lifestyle.
We're still Soft Swap, and full swing couples have been really gracious to us, letting us join them and get a better idea of the lifestyle, and letting us get our feet wet, before diving in to the deep end. :)
We've had no bad experiences, but some could have been better if we had communicated on our end better. We're still learning how to do that.
Overall, these early experiences have been a lot of fun, and we're finding that easing into the lifestyle isn't as rocky as we feared. It's been a fun journey so far.
Swing Fit Travels - Travel plans for those wanting to work out - OK, I'm sure I already know the interest level here based on prior posts I've made but what the hell.
Is anyone interested in a Swing Fit Travel arrangements? This would be an exercise vacation for Swingers. The involvement level vary from those able to do cardio for 10 hours to those looking to learn and burn (learn to workout and burn calories.)
One thing would be paramount: all attendees would be bonafide Swingers. No BS about that.
Anyone up for that? I'm thinking of a resort takeover someplace in the US so it is near and easy to get to. Going to Mexico or the Caribbean would be nice but costly. We could even go to Vegas.
