courtesy - dates and communication - When we started swinging there was no internet....not like today where it takes a few seconds to find someone you want to fuck and shoot off an email or a friend request. We had to find a magazine with ads for swingers (at an adult book store), write a letter, probably include a Polaroid pic with the letter and mail it and wait for a reply...which didn't always come. So I guess we kind of were conditioned to not really worry about it too much especially once internet swinging happened and it didn't take so much work to reach out. Now it takes so little effort to contact potential playmates that many people often spam out large numbers of emails in a shotgun approach or do the same with friend requests. We've, sadly, gotten to the point in our swinging career where we DON'T respond to blind friend requests or emails that are obviously sent to multiple people (no mention specifically of us or our profile). We used to respond but found that at least half the time we then got no response in return so we assumed the senders got a BBD (bigger, better deal) and were no longer interested. We really don't get our panties in a wad over it. I kind of look at it like an unsolicited spam email from someone wanting to clean my carpets. I really don't feel a great need to respond even though it would be the POLITE thing to do. Fwiw, We know RECON. We've actually met once or twice IRL and know his (her?) sense of humor. In fact, we even know the origin of their screen name. It's, like, short for 'recondition' or 'reconstruction' or 'recontour' or something like that.
Anyway, I just thought I would use his/her acerbic comment as a teaching moment to help anyone new to the scene with some of the jargon or slang, if you will, that swingers use so that they'll know which tab (usually A) goes into which slot (usually B)...and when.
Nobody ever told us this valuable insider info when we were noobs and we made a LOT of swinger faux pas. We were taking off our clothes at wholly inappropriate times (and places), tabs were going into the wrong slots (often even into the wrong genders!), dogs and cats were sleeping together...it was MAYHEM. It took us many years to figure it all out on our own and by the time we actually did figure it out we were old and decrepit and nobody wanted to swap (soft OR hard) with us anymore.
Now all we're left with is ULTRA soft swap which usually involves using sock puppets, pantomiming sex, while we watch another couple...also using their own sock puppets. It's quite sad and pathetic.

Cuming out of the Swinger closet - - After some time in the lifestyle, we have recently started to break the news to some of our close friends that we are swingers.
We have great friends and so far they have taken the information really well. However, we have other friends that would never want to hear it, and god forbid if we ever told our family about it.

SWINGERS Golf Pro's and Tennis Ho's Crawl - Pub Crawl - You're invited to
Our annual Golf Pros and Tennis Hos Bar Crawl. April 4th
SWINGERS- is a golf and tennis themed, 9 bar pub crawl. Dress: is wild golf or tennis clothing. 20 minutes will be spent at each bar, which is considered a hole or a set. Once here, a player must have a drink/ shot/ or a beer, to have strokes removed from their scorecard by our judges. If you are a Tennis player you must win your set by gaining points. The scorecard contains the list of bars, what drinks must be purchased for stroke deductions, and a listing of other shenanigans folks can do to have strokes taken off or to gain points (such as Flashing, making out with a stranger, dressing in player attire bringing a mascot or caddy. (Points for creativity and/or sexiness). Quoting the movie Caddy Shack, or buying a judge a drink) the tennis player who wins the most sets also wins a prize. The Pro with the lowest score at the end wins all the bragging glory, a surprise gift and the coveted SWINGERS CUP. If you are not drunk by the 9th hole, you clearly didn't follow the game plan. All competitors get a Bar Golf t-shirt at the first bar. So that we can print enough T-Shirts for everyone, tickets will not be available after March 29th. NON-COMPETITORS there is no cost for you to attend this event. But please cheer and give encouragement to the competitors. Also act as good caddies and help the player get from bar to bar. After party info will be given out at the last bar. Starting Bar is Lumpy's Downtown. 7pm

Since it is International Pillow Fight Day the ladies of Pillow Fight Club will be along for the crawl to pillow fight.
