Swinging in Utah - What makes A Pretty Great State a great place to swing? - So I could be totally wrong about why I think Utah is right up there (at least considering our relatively modest population) with many places that are much more...well let's just say cosmopolitan. Thought an informal little poll would be fun to get some feedback as to why others think the lifestyle scene is so active here in Zion.
1) It's all the warm sunny weather and sexy, sandy beaches.
2) Something in the water...other than fluoride.
3) It's rebellion from the influence from the LDS church.
4) A younger population equals more hormones and horniness.
5) The high alcohol beer makes us lose our inhibitions quicker.
6) Utah is no different than any other place as far as the number of swingers, etc..
7) It's so cold here we have to swing to stay warm.
8) We're wired for swinging because of our ancestors and their polygamy.
9) We grew up reading Prayboy and Repenthouse so we're just bundles of hormones waiting to burst!

I was on Church Council, the Catholic School board (as president for several years), the Catholic Youth Organization, a room dad (that goodness for a great employer), and rarely if ever missed a field trip. So YES, they can mix and YES I think a fellow board member and her husband were also swingers.
We had gone to church for years with swinger friends and 1/3 of the people at the First Communion of their youngest child were swingers.

I think the color chart is great... all you have to do is remember what your color is about and then when you run into someone that has a band on and you don't know what the color stands for you will be impaled to actually go up to that person and ask them what it stands for...[size=200] [color=#56121d"]this is what is called a great conversation starter...[/color][/size] this is what we are trying to get across to people.. you don't need to remember all the colors just the number that is on the bracelet...

How would you respond - - Yeah we've come across those cheating singles as well. Either married or have a g/f whom doesn't know. Last SOB story was she had a medical condition and couldn't have sex anymore, however it was ok for him to play as LONG as she wasn't aware of whom it was with. Most recently we had a profile name and description that appeared to be a couple. ID name on other swing-site was " Nicecple4fun " Turns out its a single male looking for a nice couple for fun ... it takes all kinds. We don't feel you did any thing wrong, just the mentality that swingers are cheaters and single guys feel that its pretty ez to poach. We have had several single guys participate with us however we generally meet them at LS events or house parties. Can't really say we've had any luck on any site with a single guy. Listing of LS group travel and dates - - All of January at the desires resorts is international swingers month. We are going Jan 9-16th. On all the other LS sites there is travel calendars. Not on here though.
Mormon Swingers - - Define "huge underground". LOL It's a local urban legend. But there are a fair number of swingers in Utah who still identify as LDS and some even still actively attend church and stuff.
Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - It seems the bad experiences with a few select single males has lead to such "hatred" in the lifestyle. We don't have an interest in playing with single males but we can say that for the most part they have been very respectful upon our reply. Hopefully as time passes the single male will continue to get a better name and those that are disrespectful will be in the minority.
