How to find other swingers - - MissyVern I think I read that the wristbands glowed under black light? Please consider having single straight males wristbands say something like : Remember, put her desires first or nice guys finish first or ask not what the couple can do for you, but what you can do for the couple Just a thought. Why not groom single guys into what you'd like them to be?

What is your fantasy for 2008? - Many have made resolutions for 2008, but some of us may have made a resolution to fullfill a fantasy. What's yours? - our fantasy for 2008 is to meet as many swingers as we can and also enjoy them

Here's something Ive been curious about - - I guess with the mind set of some here, IE singles aren't swingers, one could also make the statement that there's no such thing as swingers. Couples aren't swingers, they're just two people who are married and want some strange and talk each other into it. See how this works? And the comment that singles bring nothing to the table but themselves also applies to couples. You can only bring yourself to the table whether alone or with your partner and your partner does likewise. You just happen to do it at the same time. Come on folks we all participate on what ever level we choose and identify ourselves as we want. Like saying a soft swap couple aren't swingers either because they don't go all the way with others. It seems silly on all counts. As a narwhal(single male) who been in it for a decade now it still amazes me to watch all the who ha over such trivial things as definitions. We are all swingers, otherwise we wouldn't be here. Inclusive not exclusive.

PurfectLV party this weekend - - We know in some circles it is considered bad form to reply to your own post, but we thought an update on PurrfectLV would be useful for some. We went to the party last Friday night and we really enjoyed it. The venue at the top of the Mandalay Bay is fantastic. The swinger group has a separate room with a bar and with music at a low volume so conversation is easy. You can also go mingle in the main club/bar if you want to dance. There is also a great outdoor patio/balcony with a view of the Strip. The crowd (at least those we talked to) were mostly out of towners - for example, there was a whole party from Alaska who had only arrived in Vegas that night. There did also seem to be some regulars. Everyone seemed very easygoing and friendly - like most swingers. You can buy the admission ticket online before hand (we did) - it is more expensive to pay at the door. Online cost was $40 (plus a fee) for a couple with no additional charge for our third (a single female). Adding a single guy would ramp this up significantly. We are not sure how this compares to the regular admission to the club but it seemed reasonable given the private room. Bar prices were a bit steep by SLC standards - $14 for a glass of wine. Iman is a gracious and efficient hostess. She does this every week and has obviously streamlined the process. One really nice touch is that PurrfectLV guests don't have to stand in the regular line and are given a wristband. This gets you into the private room and means that you can also recognize other swingers even in the main bar. The main party runs from 10.30pm. At 1.30pm many people moved on to the after party which is in a hotel suite. This party is effectively a private house party and is BYOB. We didn't go so can't comment but it is definitely a full swing party. Iman circulates at the main party and distributes a second wristband for those interested. There is an additional contribution for this ($20/couple, single female again free).

On Premise Swingers Club - SLC - 'Church' Busted for Prostitution Takes Religious Freedom Too Far Church Not What the Constitution Meant By Isa-Lee Wolf Takeaways COMMENTARY | Sometimes you just have to give people credit for creativity. Phoenix police have busted a church called the Phoenix Goddess Temple, alleging that it was actually a front for prostitution. According to CNN, authorities claim churchgoers received sexual services in exchange for "donations." Twenty men and women have been arrested in regard to the church's practices of so-called "neo-tantric" healing; police are still seeking 17 more individuals. What makes this case so interesting is, if the allegations are true, the great lengths of planning undertaken to skirt the laws against prostitution. People tend to believe the First Amendment serves as a blanket protection of religious groups, shielding them from the general laws of the state when laws and beliefs are in conflict. Unfortunately for this group, that interpretation of freedom of religion does not always hold true. Glenn Hudson, a club owner in Dallas with the same perspective, also tried to get creative, calling his alleged nightclub/drug den a "spiritual organization," reports CBS News Dallas/Fort Worth. After his bust for running an unlicensed dance club, he claimed it was actually a youth outreach program, getting the young people of Dallas engaged with their spirituality through dance. Meanwhile, four undercover visits by police yielded 15 separate drug buys. But the Fenix/Darkside wasn't Hudson's only supposed religious group. He also owned a spiritual organization/swinger's club called The Playground, where people could allegedly watch pornography and have sex. The Playground garnered the city's attention for being housed in a building with a "certificate of occupancy for a church, mosque or synagogue." Dallas ordered both clubs permanently closed. Such creativity in using freedom of religion to shield a group from law enforcement can have tragic results. In a much darker example, polygamous sect leader Warren Jeffs sought the protection of freedom of religion to avoid consequences for his abuses of children . His lawyers argued before his trial and he now claims in his motion for a new trial that his "marriages" to children as young as 12 were protected by the Constitution, according to Reuters. Jeffs was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Religion is addressed in the first clause of the Bill of Rights for good reason. The framers of the Constitution knew what harm religious tyranny caused, and how the beliefs of the minority could easily be trampled by the majority. But trying to hide unsavory acts under the mantle of freedom of religion is an affront to all Americans, the religious and the non-religious. The religion clause is meant to protect that which is most personal, most fundamental: the individuality of a belief system. While arguments like those of the Phoenix Goddess Temple; The Playground; and, particularly, Warren Jeffs, wave the banner of religious freedom, the claims are hollow. Worst of all, manipulation of the spirit of the religion clause is an abuse of the gift of a freedom once unknown in the world.

Some Food For Thought - - I would venture to say not many folks in the Lifestyle have ever given a whole lot of conscious thought to the following topics, but it may be interesting to see what everyone has to say on them. In answering the questions, please don't let your own personal likes/dislikes be your sole reason for answering the way you do. Rather, look at it objectively as you feel it applies to others in general. In all cases, we're talking about adults only. #1. If 2 women play with and enjoy pleasuring each other in a group, couples or strictly 1 on 1 situation, does that NECESSARILY make them bi-sexual? #2. What about the same question as it pertains to men? #3. Where EXACTLY does bi-curious end and bi-sexual begin? #4. What EXACTLY is considered "kinky"? #5. Where and when EXACTLY does "kinky" become "perverted"? For example: Would Golden Showers (by mutual consent) be considered "kinky" or "perverted"? If something "just happens" during play, is it either? #6. Is playing alone, even with the knowledge and consent of your spouse, considered cheating? What about if you play with someone you and your spouse have played with together, only this time you're doing it without your spouse knowing you're doing it? Cheating? #7. If you or your spouse were to play with someone who is NOT in the Lifestyle, would you consider THAT cheating? #8. How many of us in the Lifestyle do you think have let our families know that we are Swingers? #9. How real is your fear of contracting an STD if you participate ONLY with others within the Lifestyle? #10. Do you feel there is a real possibility of us all going to hell for what we do?
