Young swingers party - sold out, who still wants to party ? - "Welcome to modern society" Well thank you! Sorry, didn't mean to come off as an old curmudgeon. It's just kind of weird to us to go to swing parties nowadays and see like a third (or more!) of the people tapping/swiping text into their phones while other people are gettin' their sexy on. Don't get me wrong. I'd rather give up beer than live without my smart phone but it seems kind of silly to be so absorbed in it when one is ostensibly at a party to hook up and have sex with other people. Maybe I'm just outdated and virtual (there's an app for that!) phone sex is WAY better than the hot, sweaty, sometimes messy, real kind. [em]Emo_49[/em]

Girls that are into DP - How common is this activity among the swingers? - When ever I can get it- I DO IT & LOVE IT! :)

Have you ever met anyone TRULY crazy in the lifestyle? - - OK so we're not overly qualified to answer, as we're quite new and haven't gotten to know anybody very well yet at all, but I do have some observations to add. Are we all nuts? NO. some are, some aren't. Many "normal" folks may think we're abnormal, crazy even. I mean, we don't exactly run around telling everybody we like to see our spouses pleasured by others, that isn't a very "Christian" or "normal" thing in society's eyes. It doesn't make us crazy. Adventurous? YES Thrillseekers? YES Different? YES Insane? NO Case in point: It's my observation that most swingers ride motorcycles. That puts them definitely in the first 2 categories. There are a ton more Bikers that are completely Vanilla and totally sane, some may say "Different" because riding isn't everybody's thing. (We're scared to death of riding, and probably never will know the serenity and enjoyment it brings most.) As far as meds go, remember this is the Zanax capitol of the world right here in the land of Zion. Not to mention the number of swinging active LDS members, other church-goers, retirees, well-paid professionals, business owners, and hard working blue collar folk. So the cross-section of society really is still there. Obviously by profiles you will find different strokes for different folks in the sexuality department, and on a Vanilla dating site, you get the same. We have members here who are octogenarians, and others who are barely old enough to get into clubs. Crazies? sure you bet, there has to be. Just as with everything else, a certain percentage of any group will be a beer or two short of a sixer. I think that's why many here are hesitant, if not reluctant to entertain the thought of a hook-up with somebody they know from the web, but haven't met in real life. We definitely fall in that category ourselves. How many booty calls really get answered? Alot of times your mailbox gets stuffed with candor, friend request, and maybe a few cell #'s, but when the brass tacks fall, they end up lying there. It's good to know that Evildoers hasn't ever feared for their lives, with their experiences over the years. The few couples we have met with one-on-one have seemed completely normal, honest, and respectful, regardless of whether or not they (or we) felt any attraction sexually. So I guess we're doing OK, and we're both excited to meet new people as often as we can. That said, I'm going to take my meds and get some shut-eye ;) ~Torque

Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - well, I think it depends on the person. I've met many a single guy who thought joining a swingers group was an easy way to get laid. And I met one last night who has been a member of swingers groups for 13 years, and has been a swinger with many of his girlfriends, even though he is single now. So is the single guy who wants to get laid a swinger? No. But the single guy who has been a member of swingers groups for 13 years and had previous been a swinger with several girlfriends.....yes I consider him a swinger. mrs. garnet

Help us out.. Take this Survey - For Utah Swingers -
Wish you had an area for comments . . .this being Utah, know you can't replicate Scarlett Ranch in Denver or Sea Mountain in Palm Springs, but if you could do something like that on occasion, great. Of course, the days of summer outdoor parties are nearing an end.
Good point.. I'll add something for comments... Highly unlikely those places could be replicated here for legal reasons..... Also, the swinger community here in Utah is REALLY tiny compared to other states.. (We like to think it's big... but most other states have much larger, much more active communities than we do).

questions, thoughts, opinions, - Cousins, or family at parties together? - Lol so it sounds like we all need to have a swingers family reunion and instead of swapping wives we all swap, families. Lol

Girls that are into DP - How common is this activity among the swingers? - DP & Airtight...yes. DVP..hell no. Just dont want to touch another guy's dick.

couples gf? - has any couples thought of this or had/have a gf -

is it wrong of me to believe that no girlfriend of a couple should expect anything beyond sex?
nope. I think the same... if a girlfriend expects more, then she is just setting herself up for a broken heart and disappointment.
It's not that easy. What if the man falls for the girlfriend. It is possible to love more then one person romantically, it happens all the time. Even friends of mine who have cheated on their wives, still love their wives, it's not just sex to some of these men. Sometimes I wonder if "Swingers" or "lifestylers" get so paranoid about falling for someone that they miss some of the fun that comes with sexual play with those you care about or ...cough...love. Love isn't something that is always controllable or a feeling that always can be tamed. I've read these posts for years, and it happens all the time in the lifestyle. Couple "A" plays with single male or female, they play often, soon one of the couple is in love with the secondary, then all hell breaks loose. I just asked myself, why? That person you fell in love with originally is still the same person, they may love someone else as well, but they in most cases still love you as well. Shut down the social conditioning that tells you it's wrong! So is swinging by the way if you listen to those religious cultural voices. Talk it over with your spouse, let them know it's okay to feel what ever they want to feel. Keep those communication lines open, and often the "fallen" partner will realize they love two and they do not have to love only one person. Sorry for the sermon, but I just cringe when I read these replies where people attempt to deny what makes them fundamentally human. It's okay to love others, even if they are not your spouse. Just remember who you are going home with and who was by your side the last umpteen years.
I used to work for a MORMON sex therapist... his usual statement" Love is easy... for the most part it requires the right emotion and the right impetus.... It's the RELATIONSHIP that is hard." I love many of the bodies/minds that I've touched... but I've never found a satisfaction better than what I've discovered with a husband of 17 years and our two amazing kids. I don't need anything from outside sources but a chance to see "what's out there..." Perhaps that's the real difficulty... analyzing our motives and admitting our jealousies. For example, I consider myself flat chested... It's why I LOVE encounters with buxom women... but I am willing to admit that my interest comes from a place of jealousy ... I don't ignore jealousies...I use them to my advantage. I am not girlfriend material... Monogamy bores me. But I do fit in with the group of couples who want full honesty.

NURSMILEY, The Don

Yeah and you should see through your infinite powers of observation that I didn't start this thread. Your point was? Wait I am not so sure you had one either. LOL Bottom line is folks, everyone craves controversy, drama and excitement. While most of us can admit it. Others try and take the "Holier than thou" approach and come in to such a thread and tell everyone how beneath them it is to discuss such things. That very act proves they too cannot stay away from the drama. They are hypocrites and lying to us and especially themselves. Sad state of affairs... For them. LOL.
