Do your friends and family know about your lifestyle? - - Well... does our families know? 12 years ago Kelly and I went to our first swingers party. I was nervous and it was made worse by seeing my mothers boyfirend there with his wife. No my mother did not know he was married. Am I going to go tell on this asshole..... no. He told on me!! My mother came alll the way into to Salt Lake (which she has only done 3 times in the 13 years I have lived in Salt Lake) to give me a rash of shit over it and explained that was the reason her and my dad got a divorce (I assume he wanted to do it and she didn't). She said the Kelly and I were going to end up the same way. I of course told her it was a one time thing and we didn't plan on ever going to another party. I know how very small this world is, and it is very small, I like to think that I have kept it secret enough that the only people who knew were fellow swingers and the ones I have elected to tell. Do my friends know? Well I have a good friend who I have told yes.... but the operative word being GOOD friend... and her and her hubby have decided to give it a try. See if they like the extra spice. In a snese if I tell someone I end up promoting the lifestyle.... but it is very few that I have told. Do co-workers know? Disabled Swingers - - "Disabled" is one of those heavily loaded but so vague it's actually meaningless words that our pop culture loves so much. This is a subject I am profounding involved in both personally and professionally. For example, did you know that alcoholism can be a disabling disease under federal regulations, and that alcoholics are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act just like a child with Cerebral Palsy or a quadriplegic adult trauma survivor in a motorized wheelchair? That's a pretty wide range of conditions and causation! Woudn't you agree? I am a disabled veteran. A huge percentage of former NFL football players and professional fighters have "disabilities." Some CURRENT players do, too! I have a quadriplegic friend who has climbed Mt. Everest. I know an Army Sargeant who is serving in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan after losing both of his legs. And I know alcoholics whom I wouldn't trust to take out the trash. So this all seems very subjective, doesn't it? That's because it is! You cannot put people with disabilities in a box any more than you can people without disabilities. Therefore, it is equally impossible to know in advance whether or not you would be sexually attracted to them. You will have to meet them, get to know them a bit, and see for yourself. But make no mistake: "disabled" does NOT automatically apply to sex! One of the most profound Abilities of people with disAbilities, is the ability to adapt and improvise to compensate for their abnormalities. And some disabilities (like bipolar disorder, autism, etc.) are actually the OVER-abundance of things that normal people have and/or experience in smaller doses or less frequently. I'm sure you've all heard of the medical condition "Priapism" by now. This "something wrong with you" is when the male penis remains erect no matter what...the permanent boner. This condition can be painful, embarassing, highly inconvenient, and a helluva lot of fun for awhile! But to the person toting that thing around all the time, it becomes a disability. Get the idea?

Wannabes and net fakes - Will the real lifestyle members please stand up - How many of you have taken the time to examine just how many of the coined and meaningless profiles there are on the net in general, not just here on this site. We have been in the lifestyle as life as allowed for over 25 yrs. Long before the introduction of the net. Now it seems the lifestyle as an entire new perspective. Lets see we have who knows how many version of "swingers" Hard, soft, mild, wild, interested, looking for, etc etc. That said and in consideration of all of these well coined and copied versions, I have a suggestion for one, HOW ABOUT "REAL" Real replies to emails or messages, Real arrives for scheduled meetings, Real post genuine pictures, Real is proud of their gender and does not have to "fake" another's, Real would never open a dialogue with "interested what are you looking for", Real has actually either involved themselves in the lifestyle or at the least have a genuine desire to physically do so, not play games. And finally, "Real" respects others by being real in person, on the net and or the phone, Give it a try people, you may find this lifestyle very interesting by being "Real"

What are swingers really looking for ?Are they looking for frien - Has the happen to you. - Our experiences has shown that there are a lot of people on swinger sites that don't take the time to read the ENTIRE profile before writing. Mexico! Come with us!!! :) - Trying to put together a group of Swingers to go to Mexico with us! - I'm sure anyone on our friends list got the previous email about our trip to Mexico and wanting to put a trip together in the spring. If you didn't, well that's the gist of it! Our availability would be between May 9th-17th. Probably thinking 4-5 nights (we have a little one at home so that makes it hard for us to leave for too long) but I'm sure any of you that wanted to could stay longer/shorter could do that. We would probably plan one big group excursion (we did sailboating, snorkling, parasailing and shopping all in one excursion for one day for only $135 total for both of us combined and that wasn't even a group rate) to do one of the days and maybe the bar hopping one night? Other than that there are tons of other excursions to do, or lets face it laying around in the pool with the swim up bar sounds pretty amazing too!
