BD/SM- Why are there no groups? - - Hello! I have never started a discussion form topic before (btw-this is Dana not Terry) so please be forgiving of me. Anyways, I have a question. Interracial Fun - Taboo Or Good Fun? - Well their have been a lot of intresting comment made. Coming from an african american male who is D/d free everyone has their own choice to partake are no to. Some people like chicken others like steak. to each is own. It is impossible to judge a race based off of what you seen on t.v., read in a book, heard on the radio , or experinced from one person. I wish we could live in a world were race wasn't such a issue. I am a very well respected entertainer and to this day i am ocasionly mis treated but i dont say white people are ignorant ass's. Hedonism, Tempations, Sandals, or others? - - What are you looking for? Each has their own strengths. We chose Hedonism after a lot of comparison because we don't like to be moderated for nakedness, like to party with fun people, wanted fun nightlife without leaving the resort and wanted a place where we could be as free as we wanted without inhibitions. If you want a more mellow place but want to be naked, Desire is fun but an older, mellower crowd for the most part. Cruises are huge and have an age range from 21 to 101. You can find what you want but limited on play areas and such. Temptations has a lot of single guys, is topless, but you can show much PDA and can get in trouble for sexual play or nudity. Sandals is a basic, adult resort. Didn't see any naked people there and definitely not a "lifestyle" place. Any place you go I would highly recommend trying to go during a takeover. We have been several times during Young Swingers Week and after talking to many who have visited all the places you have mentioned, they like Hedonism the best. Of course that is all subjective. It's our top choice. We don't go to play constantly and it isn't a fuck-fest for us. It could be but it just isn't our style. You can have sex on the beach at night if you want. Not so at Temptations or Sandals. Desire seemed to mellow for us.

Dating other Couples - Have you done it? - Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. We know plenty of people who've done it, and done it successfully (up to a point), ourselves included. We don't know of many, if any, where it has lasted for more than a few years and didn't end somewhat badly. It CAN be quite heady and has the potential to take swinging to the next level. Unfortunately, it is also exponentially more likely to crank up the drama factor to eleven (out of ten). Quite often each couple has their own "agenda" (for lack of a better term) that is often at odds with the other couple's agenda. We've seen it frequently cause weird jealousies not only between primary partners but also between non-primary partners and in a few extreme notable cases it has ended marriages. In our case, we were relatively long-term swingers at that point who, although never really super active in the scene, felt like we'd checked off most of the things on our swinging bucket list and were somewhat curious if there was more out there to explore in swingerdom...or if we were sort of done with the scene. The couple we started "dating" wasn't really the kind of couple we usually were attracted to and maybe that was part of the allure. They also had a very interesting (to say the least) dynamic in their marriage that really was at odds with that in our relationship. Ultimately they kept pushing boundaries (started throwing the "L" word around and much more), pushed for more and more separate activities and were insidious in slowly and subtly causing rifts, both large and small, as well as a LOT of drama. We actually didn't even realize how much drama and subterfuge had occurred until we were finally out of the situation entirely. We actually miss them a little, at times, and often wonder if there might have been a way to talk things out and come to a better understanding of how to continue on in a healthier way but they've actually gone on to do exactly the same thing to a number of other couples we know (it's a small world in Utah swinging and word gets around) and it seems to be their pattern. Tldr; It can work. It's quite rare when it works long term. It has the potential for disaster. While it's appealing in many ways we don't really recommend it. YMMV

Original humans as swingers? - Provocative theories based on Bonobo sexual behavior - I have actually found this to be true, quite recently in fact. My wife and I were at a rough time in our marriage and simoultaneously happened upon another woman that we both really enjoyed (who is also QUITE gorgeous). After a while of all getting to know each other, we welcomed her into our home and she became our full-time 3rd. Within mere days of her joining us, the conflict between my wife and I just faded. While the 2 ladies love each other dearly, there seems to be between them a friendly sort of competition for my affections at any given moment. Therein, they are both perpetually on their "best behavior". It's a communal, free and open relationship now and everyone gets along even better than what was already a great marriage. There is no guilt and no jealousy, just love and friendship. It's awesome and stands as irrefutable evidence that "civilized, modernized sexuality" is not the natural state of the species. AZ nudist resorts - - Resort might be a stretch. Shangri La Ranch in New River is more of a trailer park with a pool. Pool is well kept, rent able rooms are available but are dated and just OK, well maybe just a little less than OK. Weekdays the residents are a little bit more mature. On weekends the day pass folks are a little younger. We have never encountered any swingers but enjoy the pool and sun. Usually stay off site and day pass, but you haven't lived until you have seen naked karaoke.
