It's just changing. In our case, we're just not as "out there" anymore as we used to be....And kind of feel like maybe that's true for a lot of folks. The waitress and her boyfriend are into swapping... we find out there are people here, meeting in bars with out the net.. when we meet, folks we are interested in a public setting, and we tell all potential playmates we would prefer to meet and see how things go.. We try to stress we make no plans to play that night... But we dont rule it out either.. Depends on everyones comfort level.. Plan for anything expect nothing the first date... Ya never can tell...

Black Ring - Who has theirs and how have they caught on? - We both have black rings and have worn them in public and to places like Habits, etc.. And we've done this off and on for well over 10 years (when we first became aware of what seems to be more or less a swinging urban legend). To date we have NEVER been approached by another couple and asked if we were swingers or anything close to it. Maybe we're just fugly and nobody wants to fuck us but the whole black ring thing is a big FAIL IMHO. Even if it ever did catch on it probably wouldn't take more than a few days to a few weeks for it to get out on social media, etc., and everyone would be looking for swingers with black rings in public (not unlike times we've gone to takeovers and had to wear wrist bands and it quickly got out to hotel staff, other guests, etc. that people wearing wrist bands were there for a swinger event). Most people (not all) involved in swinging really don't want their vanilla friends, family or coworkers...or even strangers to know they're swingers. Most vanillas pretty much classify swingers as worse people than Ashley Madison cheaters and used car salesmen. Much easier in our opinion to "meet" people at dedicated meet and greets or parties or here and other places online than to hope for serendipitous encounters out in public.

age versus pics - - We have always had pics with our profiles, and we don't mind letting people see who we are. We've never had any problems yet. We figure if someone sees us on a swingers website, they must be there for the same reasons we are, or they wouldn't be looking in the first place. We have pictures from last week, and we have some from several years ago. I doubt if anyone could really tell the difference. We're one of those lucky couples who have looked the same for a long time. We feel that if our pics are an accurate view of what we really look like, it really doesn't matter how old they are. Curious Question - - Hi all, my hubby and I are going to be moving from DC to Reno, NV. very soon. can we swing and still not be in sin ? - - Since I've been sucked into the swirling vortex of this thread, the only way I can feel like I haven't been robbed of the last 1/2 hr (give or take) of my life is to add my .02 Ok, I know I could just chalk it up to that which doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, but adding my input seems more satisfying. I'll start off by saying that if you are doing this much research regarding religions and what they allow or don't allow regarding sexual activity it has to make me wonder if you're seriously considering converting to another religion just to save yourself the guilt of sin brought upon by whatever religion you happen to be at the moment. All religions have been formed and molded over the years by people. People who are not perfect, who have their own agendas. A sense of right and wrong doesn't come solely from religion. Many religions would like you to think that in an attempt to keep you in their camp and they'll be more than happy to tell you what is right and wrong for the rest of your life (in case you can't think for yourself). But if you have to switch religions just so that you can sleep at night after a fun-filled evening of swinging, you have some other things to figure out. Or perhaps you should just start you're own religion, where you can make all the rules. In any case, I think its fairly safe to say that most religions believe quite strongly that those of us engaging in the swinging lifestyle are sinning by engaging in immoral activities, just cuz they don't use the actual word sin, doesn't mean anything. Its just more politically correct these days to say immoral. In any case though, they most certainly believe that we (swingers) will most definitely be going to a very special level of hell, a level reserved for... (sorry, narrowly avoided an obsure pop culture reference) As for me, yes I believe there is a God.
