Monogamy in marriage - An interesting article on the subject - I think the number one reason that a marriage goes off track is the lack of communication. It could show up in fights over money, one or the other cheating because their needs are not taken care of in the marriage, or just about any of the rocks that so many couples run into along the path of married life. One reason I think that swingers tend to be happier and more secure is because without good, open communication swinging can be a minefield. Most that stay in the lifestyle for any amount of time learn to communicate better with each other than many others that do not have the experience of sharing. This summer we'll have been married 35 years so I guess it works :-)

Help us understand double standard?? - - Ok all.... first dont flame us just a simple question. Why is there people in the swing lifestyle that dont swing both ways? Let me explain why are there so many swingers that only seek females? Isnt the purpose in swinging to trade partners? Why does only the female seek the pleasure? Is it just us that feels this way? If you do the math, you'll find there are more younger couples on the cruise than there are at Hedo -- even during Young Swingers Week. But not by much. We like the diversity of activities / things to do on the cruise ship -- and the higher-end restaurants and accommodations.
But I've heard VERY VERY good things about Young Swingers Week... I think you're going to have a blast.

No one is telling you to leave. What we are saying is... If you don't like the subject of the thread, move on. You are claiming that it is impossible for you to accomplish this. Classy, you used the word "Forum Police". Remember, WAAA1101 is the one who started this thread trying to get everyone to stop posting threads that didn't have to do with sex. That is textbook "policing". Furthermore Classy, you, like WAAA, make it your regular business to complain about others and what they choose to converse about. I think things would get better if you quit complaining about threads you don't like and involve yourself in the ones you do. You are the ones being intolerant of us. We have heard that you are "unhappy" with the thread and why. To me, your unhappiness seems to stem from your inability to control what people talk about here.
WAAA1101, you tell me if I don't like explicit photos to, "get over it". I do "get over it", by not going to the theads that contain them or starting them myself. I think you need to "get over" our threads. You need to practice what you preach. Live and let live. We enjoy the open minded attitude, some of the taboo humor, the opprotunity to let down some of our inhibitions and just have alot of fun. Thats something that we cant really do with the people we associate with at work, at home, in our neighborhood and our family members for various reasons. Lifestyles for us can range from open topic discussions to nude hot tubs, exhibitionism, dirty dancing, etc. Then there are those people we \"swing\" with. The people that we just love to get nasty and sexual with. Some of the friendships we have fit in both areas and some never cross the line.
We have found that the best relationships we have established can be both vertical and horizontal. We love to travel with our friends in lifestyles.. attend biker rallies, dine, dance, bowl or just sit around watching a good movie or playing any of several video games. We have invited many of these people to our home to bbq, meet the family, just hang out and pass some time.
We use sources, such as this sight and others, the clubs, various meeting places, etc where people in this area of interest can be found to find new relationships and enjoy the company of others wheither its for one night or for many years to come. Is it all about the sex... No way... but sometimes the sex in any degree adds some spice to the mix.
