STD Testing - How often are you tested? - Just the totally Mormon ones. Love to see the looks on their faces when we describe what we like to do with other swingers. [em]Emo_84[/em]

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - "Well regardless of what some folks say, age is a determining factor, especially when you reach the, "remind me of my dad" attitude, or even "you could be my grandfather"" So, what advice would hand those that are told they remind other couples of their kids? Youth seems to be as much of a stumbling block from what I have observed as agedness.

Crickets! - -

Damn....The forum is as dead as the economy. Take heart swingers, don’t lose faith. Human kind will prevail, Sex will prevail.
We thought the forums and the chat would have more activity. Instead everyone is too busy making memes and shopping for toilet paper.
Same I'm doing more cardio around my neighborhood in Bountiful and have gotten as far as Farmington on a good day to see maybe two other runners pass me. Before I used to pass couples, groups of seniors, and the occasional cougar pack. People have to be doing something at home instead of stressing.

Obama's Roadtrip - -
Fair enough. Then why rely on them for anything that likely wasn't adequately studied?
Likely just does not do it for me...When the numbers are given AND shown how they were gathered, I tend to believe they are fairly accurate.
Let's take your Pepsi/Coke example. There is likely nothing befuddling about your scenario. Just one possibility: Where are the two Florida products bottled? Maybe it's the water.
Both bottled locally, it is chalked up to being a preferance thing. In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. If someone in the south offers a Coke, it could be Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Rite, Sam's Club Soda, etc.
I'm glad you agree with the logic. My Bachelor's is in Social Welfare (Psych Minor). Human nature is only a bitch of a thing when you get out there a few standard deviations. The bulk of us are as predictable as rats.
Believe it or not, I have 2 BA's (econ and int. rel.) with a minor in social work. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Try being the ONLY conservative in all the social work classes, it was fun! Then again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I propose that as an economist you are simply looking at things with a limited perspective.
Possibly, but I also have a rare ability to look at it from an outsider's view....
There is simply no question that if a person's basic needs (food and shelter) are met, there is less motivation to risk the consequences of violating societal rules.
I can see the logic of this, however, we are Americans, we always want MORE, we are constantly bombarded with images of MORE, we are constantly told that without MORE we are incomplete, etc. What are the consequences of violating societal rules? Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!

"Black Ring" or other Lifestyle insignia? - - we use to sell the bracelets at the meet and greets but not that many people bought them... I think that when it comes to meeting new couples and thinking that you are turning them into swingers (not really the case) turns some people on so they don't want to be labeled.... If that makes sense?

Swinging and the Mormon Church - -
Well the natural man is an enemy to God... so honestly I agree with the whole double life thing, people are who they are, put on a facade to the majority. With Organized religion there is always a level of hypocrisy. Be discrete and let people be who they want to be. Whether you're Atheist, apart of Scientology , Lds, Catholic or most anything in society other than our awesome little group of swingers, you put on a face with everyone and let go here, so who is to say what is right or wrong? You're all on some kind of level of pervert so really there is no, "he is more of one than I." You are being promiscuous, or sleeping with a married person or being married and sexually not limited to your significant other. Sinners are everywhere, some justify their actions and are more comfortable with "letting go". Everyone's right or wrong varies and for those who decide to give in to their "wrong" all the sudden see the light and it's okay to do now, WOOPI!! I guess what I mean to say is: WHO CARES WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING WITH THEIR LIFE AND THEIR CHOICES!
Totally agree. Key is being open and honest with your spouse.

International Swingers Day - How are you celebrating? - How was it? We're thinking of going in the near future. Where y'all get a room at? Close by the club? I'm not familiar too much with slc. This is the Mrs. C btw 🙂

What do you like about swinging? - - 1) I just like bangin' lots of peeps! 2) It's a total ego trip that lots of people will actually fuck me. 3) It's a huge rush playing chicken with STD's. 4) I like playing relationship Russian Roulette. 5) I simply get bored fucking the same person all the time. 6) It's my way of thumbing my nose at Judeo-Christian values and morals. 7) Simple. I HATE paying for sex. 8) I feel like I owe it to humanity to share my rockin' bod. 9) I just like those little swinger meatballs in the Crock Pot at the buffet table. 10) Well...I don't have any other hobbies. 11) I like having a deep dark secret. 12) I don't have a hot tub and most swingers do. 13) I don't actually swing. I just tease people and lead them on then CRUSH their egos. 14) I like swinging because it momentarily decreases the crushing loneliness of my life. 15) It makes my pee pee (or vajayjay) feel good. 16) I like it cuz I wanna see if everyone else's junk looks the same as mine. 17) Mommy/daddy issues. 18) I bought a pallet of condoms at Costco and hate to waste money.
