Don Juan, you are very wrong. People like u that say I pay my taxes that pay your wages. Guess what, for the past 17 years I've been paying taxes too. Just because our pay comes out of taxes doesn't make u my boss. Teachers, Soldiers, Sailors, Police, Firemen, EMT's. We all pay taxes. And too bad to say, Police, Soldiers, Sailors, EMT's, and Marines don't have a choice on who we protect or save.
Memorial day is to remind the public to remember those that fell in the line of duty. Those that gave the greatest sacrafice for this country. It doesn't matter what war, or the reason. They served this country and lost their life doing it. It shows in all the military's core values. Honor is always first. So honor the fallen, don't disgrace them.

Don Juan has his freedom of speach and as much as I may disagree with his position his rights are just as important as mine. certian rights are so very important that a group of men back around the late 1700's decided to expressly write them down. freedom of speach was among those rights expressly protected not given in the document (Bill of Rights). those in uniform and out of uniform alike may disagree with our political goals and how the military is used in the accomplishment of those goals but never the less the military has been asked to fight and so we do. Expect more news reports like this one. - - What bullshit. They didn't once mention the fact that most swingers also routinely abuse their pet stuffed ferrets and burp loudly in public restaurants.
