Couples Oasis in Vegas - - Have been.. wasn't impressed. Felt like the kind of place you might get herpes just by sitting on a chair. Hosts were very friendly, crowd was older ... didn't see any couples there we would have rated over a "4 / 10". Stayed about 30 minutes and left.

Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. A Place In The Lifestyle - - Well, It sounds more like a Utah club. We do not have swinger clubs here. Unless the club wishes to work at keeping people that are not in the lifestyle out, you may have to find another way to determine the swinging couples. Maybe the swinger wrist bands are a good idea at that club to identify others in the lifestyle. It would take some work on your part talking with those you may already know are in the lifestyle. You may not wish to wear them other places but it would solve a lot of problems for you in the club.
Now the other question of who belongs is very difficult to answer. A lot of swingers do not swing very often or with very many others. So I see little difference between meeting one lifestyle or the other. As long as you are comfortable with your lifestyle, and asking another person if they are in the lifestyle, I do not see how you can lose. In Utah the chances are always slim that anyone will say yes straight away if they do not already know you. I would say that since it is a swinger club you have a greater chance than we do here at finding people in the lifestyle and you might even find some converts.

Based on my views of the quality of news reporting in Utah, and the influence of the church locally, I will go with both.
One concern this story brings up is the level of scrutiny now on the community in Utah and what the the laws surrounding playing and public parties are, especially where on-premises sex is permitted. I can see our own home-grown morality police trying to force their version of reality on the rest of the population and seek to stop these parties from happening.
