You seem to be a very presumptuous person. I was born in South Carolina and have lived there on and off. I was also a soldier for a time in the south. I am not from Utah. I have only been here for a little over a year. I was raised in Oregon. I have lived in both extremes. I have seen both sides of the world. I could care less what you are apologetic for. The bottom line is, that a Southerner's shit stinks just like everyone elses. They have and still commit atrocities in the South, just like anywhere else. If you understood any of what I said, you would know that. Your post suggested that the state you live in has something to do with your tact. That is absolute disinformation. It is propagandist intolerant garbage. All states have their assholes and their good people. I would also like to say that Liberalism or Conservatism also have nothing to do with it. All you are proving is that you, like most other are biased based upon your affiliations. Is that bad??? No. Just don't try and convince everyone that you are somehow better based upon your locale or political affiliation. We are all human. We shit, eat, sleep, hate, love, laugh and cry the same. can we swing and still not be in sin ? - - Since I've been sucked into the swirling vortex of this thread, the only way I can feel like I haven't been robbed of the last 1/2 hr (give or take) of my life is to add my .02 Ok, I know I could just chalk it up to that which doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, but adding my input seems more satisfying. I'll start off by saying that if you are doing this much research regarding religions and what they allow or don't allow regarding sexual activity it has to make me wonder if you're seriously considering converting to another religion just to save yourself the guilt of sin brought upon by whatever religion you happen to be at the moment. All religions have been formed and molded over the years by people. People who are not perfect, who have their own agendas. A sense of right and wrong doesn't come solely from religion. Many religions would like you to think that in an attempt to keep you in their camp and they'll be more than happy to tell you what is right and wrong for the rest of your life (in case you can't think for yourself). But if you have to switch religions just so that you can sleep at night after a fun-filled evening of swinging, you have some other things to figure out. Or perhaps you should just start you're own religion, where you can make all the rules. In any case, I think its fairly safe to say that most religions believe quite strongly that those of us engaging in the swinging lifestyle are sinning by engaging in immoral activities, just cuz they don't use the actual word sin, doesn't mean anything. Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - We feel quite the opposite. We've been on swingular for 15 days now. We made a rule really early and that was that your friend request would only be approved if we did in fact know you personally, or if the one asking had made some effort to get to know us in a Chat room, or by email. One thing though that I would advise you as newbies on this site. If you allow your "sexual preferences" to dictate who and if you will meet someone in the lifestyle, then you are going to miss out on it's rich experience. Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - Ummm 75 couples times 2 = 150 people and while thats not alot for a hotel party it still falls within the accurate statement of aproximately 200 I was there so this is how I saw the situatiuon; now I am not saying that the cuprits of this incident were the swingers attending the party but come on, your hosts should have made sure that no part of your party was visible to outside guests and some better discression could have been used by SOME of the party goers. Yes there was some flashing and gyrating here and there. And while I love a good party I am also a dad and wouldnt want my kids seeing that stuff either. Do any of you realize that if even one arrest was made swingers everywhere would look bad?. On the other hand the parents should have exercised better control over the children in their charge and the hotel should have either a refused the party or not booked the soccor team (the situation there to me was like having booked a klan rally and a black panthers reunion. not a good idea). PS according to a reporter friend of mine WKMG has procured from the hotel a copy of the security tapes of the events that went on in the ballroom and around the hotel that night with the possiblity of doing a story on the night as part of an expose (i know its allready been done to death) on swinging in central florida.
