STD Testing - How often are you tested? - The only thing is that the test results are pretty much only good for the day they were done. Unless someone gets tested and then stays in a vault cut off from anyone else until the test results come back there is no way to determine if they are still STI free. Even accounting for incubation periods an STI test is really only good for that MOMENT when your blood was drawn. Bottom line if you're going to swing first be okay with the real and inherent risks and second protect yourself to the extent that you feel okay with those risks. We do our homework about what diseases are out there and then act appropriately. To us it only makes sense to assume that EVERYONE has an STD (most adults are seropositive for HSV type 1 or 2 which are now almost interchangeable as to where they can and will induce a primary infection) and to protect ourselves accordingly. People that are super paranoid about sex cooties prolly shouldn't be swingers. JMO Not even going to mention how some VERY common STI's don't have a reliable test and thus aren't routinely screened for.

D&D free? - is this an oxymoron? - As I've been pondering all the intriguing aspects of this new world we are entering, something doesn't mesh in my mind. We live in a nation where billions (at least multi-millions) are spent daily to advertise drugs. This is done because it enables the drug companies to make multi-billions selling drugs. You can get prescription drugs for everything from your pecker to your severe depression about your pecker! And this is only the legal/prescription drug industry - I imagine the illegal drug business is even bigger. Just exactly where do all these drugs go? I suppose a lot are consumed by folks who have minimal concerns about engaging in high risk activities? Hmmm..... swingers?nah? Fact is the math would indicate that there is a lot more coursing through the veins of just about everyone we encounter than just the good ol redwhite&blue! Same goes for disease. I don't believe the existence of most of it is caused by long-term monogamous relationships. When you are only as safe as the very last physical contact you have and you deal in a world of relative strangers, well, you get the picture. I hope these are not interpreted to be negative comments. I truly am just trying to figure out the mentality of the profiles I read. It strikes me the whole "d&d free" thing is either a formality/some sort of cover-your-ass disclaimer or just people kidding themselves.

Valentines Swingers Dance Social-February 10th - Meet and Greet social party that is On-premise, w/no pressures/obligations - Hello All Friends, Wanted to let ya'll in on the special Valentines Motel social for this Saturday night, the 10th. Instead of having our gathering in the meeting room this time...I've rented a very nice Suite, with two bathrooms, a jacuzzi tub, and a TV to enjoy. The suite will hold between 35/40 people, and it has a bed, only on one side, but if anyone wants to be an exhibitionist, we won't mind watching....;) If you plan on getting a room for your stay, the discounted rate is $50 plus taxes, but you must inform the front desk you're with Tammy Williams, and the Suite Gathering, on the first floor. The door donation for the party is $30 a couple, $60 select single males, and $20 for females. If your membership is still current though, you get $10 off your door donation, and from here on out, you're not required to become a member to attend, but if you want to still be able to attend the cabin get-a-ways we have, it's $60 a year to be on the list. Question - do you talk about other swingers? - After giving this question alot of thought and consideration, we have come to the conclusion that first it might be very helpful to meet someone. What if??? - Some body's worst night mare. - 1. I know someone else in my family that are swingers. Not my parents although I highly suspect they have engaged in such activities in the past. 2. I have run into various family members (siblings, cousins, etc) at m&g's and parties. This question comes about due to the recent demise of our bed. It appears that 2 years of AMAZING sex WILL destroy a low-quality mattress.
