Preconceived Ideas - - I Guess in the start of all this, or b4 we actually experienced anything in the lifestyle.....we may have had a preconception that it was all about sex, but have sensed realized that it is more for social gatherings of open minded friends. (not that sexual fun doesnt sometimes come of the open minded gathering......) We have a ton of fun at these gatherings, and now have some lifetime friends that we have a good time with no matter what we are doing. It isnt just about the sex like we first thought, and in the start we were kinda afraid that ppl who were more experienced would be pushy, or that our relationship would be disrespected, BUT that is SO far from how it actually is. There is a lot more respect given to a relationship at one of these gatherings then you can find at any other place on a saturday night, thats for sure! We would much rather hang out with swingers then anyone else....at any given time!!! Way fun people, respectful, and non judgemental.......a crowd that we perfer to hang out with!
Utah - - We like the fact that as swingers in Utah we have this dirty little secret that we have and we can sneak around (not unlike a cheating spouse we imagine) behind our neighbors, family and the Church's back doing all sorts of evil deeds and loving every minute of it. We've met TONS of Mormon "refugees" like ourselves who are so happy and excited to finally have the yoke of the Church off our backs that we go quite wild and enjoy our debauchery all the more. Other areas we've lived and "swung" don't quite have the same naughty feel as though we're getting away with something quite forbidden. So yeah, a lot of living in Utah can be a compromise and some of it downright sucks but overall it's extremely fun being EXTREMELY bad here. ;-)

Swingers at work... - - Thanks STRAIGHTUPNOW, but honestly I thought I handled it VERY DISCRETLY, it was a simple small card nothing more, between himself and I. As for the rest I was half way across the country as I stated in the post. So I didn't feel I was in the wrong by approaching him. I feel that alot of people freak out when someone does find out about their little secret, and most don't know how to handle it when they are the ones approached instead of them doing the approaching. That last trip was about 5 years ago, and recently I have discovered we are returning to do business with them again. Lake Powell 2013? - - We would like to join the trip timing sounds good. Swinging versus poly/open - - I'm speculating here, but it seems the millennial generation as a whole is more open to an open/poly relationship, and it naturally is bleeding into Swingular as more and more younger/ish couples sign up.
We started out with very strict rules about emotions for others, ect. Now, we find ourselves on a spectrum where we still occasionally love the "wham bam, thank you mam" aspects of swinging (what were their names again...😁?), but after several years of that, we are now far more interested in developing relationships with the people we meet. Sometimes that means we have really good friends with benefits, however neither of us are closed to the possibility of dating the right person.
And I don't believe dating others leads to divorce, however not being honest and failing to communicate certainly does. And that applies to swingers and monagamous couples alike.

Vegas Baby! - Clubs - Purrfect Parties is definitely a Swingers group. We have met so many people in Vegas and that are just passing through from other cities that are in the lifestyle. The get together at the Hard Rock is just to break the ice but you can end up leaving with your wildest fantasy. We live here in Vegas and that has been the best place to meet people. We are on Lifestyle Lounge since Swingular doesn't seem to be big in Vegas. We have also done the Green Door but I wasn't that impressed and there were a lot of single. creepy males. I don't mind single males but not lurky ones. :D
