The Vent part II - Secrecy - Hi all, me again here with another vent. As we have turned into full blown swingers, our "Vanilla" friends are becoming an issue. We usually swing out of town for two reasons, first there are very few swingers in our area, and I'm having my doubts that the ones that are here are who they say they are, and second, (as a friend once said) we are in a small town and can't "shit in our own nest." The problem is we are very fun people to be around (not bragging,) and when we go out of town our Vanilla friends want to come with us. This leads into the problem, if we take our friends out of town with us we can't find someone to play with, or we have to "out" ourselves to them which leads to SO many other issues that I don't even want to contemplate what could happen then. So we are planning a trip to Mesquite, for all you Northerners that's like Wendover, and some of our Vanillas want to come, but we want to "hook up" while we are there, and if we don't "hook up" we could still have alot of fun with our regular friends. Small Town - Speak Out - We live in a small town in Texas. We have (according to the profiles on several swing sites) about 35 swinging couples within 20 miles of us. We are business owners in our town and have somewhat clear face shots on our profile. None of the other couples have pics at all. It sounds more like a nudest colony at times so I don't think we would go unless there were a takeover. If you want to walk around naked, have the best accommodations and MAYBE get to play, I'd try Desire. If you want a party scene with lots of swingers, Hedo or a cruise. The majority of people who go are swingers, so a lot of opportunity to play. If you just want a fun place to go topless and and maybe meet some swingers, Temptations is cheaper, but only about 20-30% if the guests are in the lifestyle, so the chances of you finding someone you really connect with is reduced. The cruise has thousands of people, so the best chance of meeting all kinds of people, but I hear it can be overwhelming. It sounds like on a cruise, to make the best of it, you need to be outgoing, talk to a lot of people and not care about the older, less-fit crowd mixing in. There are a lot of super hot people on the cruises as well. Just a huge mixing bowl of peeps. Anyway, there is my ramble. What do you like most about lifestyles? - - In theory, the lifestyle is perfect for us. We have never regretted starting this adventure and still believe that it is right for us.
