We have had our share of turn downs, but most we have found people just don't respond. From the few that actually took the time to respond I can't remember anyone doing more than saying no thanks.
We did save one response to a rejection letter we sent, the only one ever saved. She wrote an entire 1 page letter about how we should not judge books/people by the cover. It was quite a read. It was in response to one of our nicer rejecting letters where we politely pointed out we had no interest and suggested some swingers groups they might consider exploring (they were just started to explore the lifestyle). oh well.
seniors - why is it so difficult to find senior swingers or single ladies? - Wow...I don't think Tequila Rose needs to jump on this one, as your "opinion" is very clear, and gosh...just right out there, ain't it?
However, we simply want to state that in our "opinion", your "opinion" is found to be completely lacking in tact, good intent, social grace, and was completely unkind.
If you felt such a necessity to answer with such...how can I put this..."honesty", then could you not have done it with at least more flair and less bluntness?
I am not going to get on my "we're all going to be there someday" soapbox, because that is stating the overtly obvious.
However, I certainly hope that by the time we get there, we don't run into many people either in or out of swinging, that would have such an utter lack of integrity and social etiquette to tell us that we are no longer considered viable and attractive members of society to at least someone.

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - What did we expect? "Couple celebrates 15 Happy Years of Swinging, story at 10."? Gotta pimp yourself for those ratings, especially when the younger generation wouldn't be caught dead turning on a television to get their news. I wouldn't call that a balanced report by ANY stretch of the imagination. Could she not, in her lurking around this site, have found ONE couple to go on camera anonymously or otherwise to say that contrary to what this woman is saying, swinging has been great fun and enhanced their life as well as their marriage and helped them to communicate on a whole new level? That they know MANY couples who feel the same way and are happy, well adjusted people who work and raise their kids and contribute to their communities? Reasonable and balanced my hairy ass!

What really defines a TRUE swinger? - - We don't consider singles swingers, but have no problem playing with them on occasion. We play with both couples and singles and still consider ourselves swingers. Most the time, I initiate simply because I'm the more social and outgoing one. Sometimes he makes the calls. We both have to agree on the situation, but we can take turns making the calls. I think its more important to have fun and do what makes you happy rather than arguing about whether or not I'm a swinger, you're a swinger, they're a swinger, is everyone a swinger? lulz. I dunno. Am I a fake swinger cuz Mark gets to be in charge sometimes or because we play with singles sometimes? Oh well. Guess I'll just keep playing pretend. mwuahahaha.
Mexico! Come with us!!! :) - Trying to put together a group of Swingers to go to Mexico with us! - I'm sure anyone on our friends list got the previous email about our trip to Mexico and wanting to put a trip together in the spring. If you didn't, well that's the gist of it! Our availability would be between May 9th-17th. Probably thinking 4-5 nights (we have a little one at home so that makes it hard for us to leave for too long) but I'm sure any of you that wanted to could stay longer/shorter could do that. We would probably plan one big group excursion (we did sailboating, snorkling, parasailing and shopping all in one excursion for one day for only $135 total for both of us combined and that wasn't even a group rate) to do one of the days and maybe the bar hopping one night? Other than that there are tons of other excursions to do, or lets face it laying around in the pool with the swim up bar sounds pretty amazing too!
