I wonder why Heinlein's books were never made into movies most are quite good. C.S. Lewis, Athur C Clark, Asimov all super writers. Martian Chronicles, SG, SG Atlantis... Too many to mention... The day the Earth Stood Still with Michael Rennie...Rocketman Seriels in the movies from the 40's and 50's. Who remembers Rocky's Rocket Rangers from 50's TV brought to you by Ovaltine and if you sent so many jar seals into the show you could get the decoder ring for the secret messages..... Sci Fi has been predictive of future events for so long...Lazers, Rocket ships, Rocket packs, And a statement in Forbidden Planet; " the taped thrillers of the 20th century" Filmed in Eastman Kodac color and in 1956 or maybe 65 but long before video tape was available...The special effects were awsome ...no computer generated things.... And the landing scene... note the shadow and the bubbliing earth and dust.....all hand done animation. And Robbie the robot... a mechanical wonder for it's day... Swingers would and probably love Heinlein... Stranger in a Strange Land and Time Enough for Love.... Can't get enough Sci Fi...

In fact, we even know the origin of their screen name. It's, like, short for 'recondition' or 'reconstruction' or 'recontour' or something like that. Anyway, I just thought I would use his/her acerbic comment as a teaching moment to help anyone new to the scene with some of the jargon or slang, if you will, that swingers use so that they'll know which tab (usually A) goes into which slot (usually B)...and when. Trying to find a fun "lifestyle-nude" resort for a vacation... - any suggestions... which are better.. hedo11, hedo111, desire, etc.. (others) thanks - We have been to a number of the nudist resorts around the Southeast US and Florida. The posts that advise that overtly sexual activity in the public areas is not allowed are correct. That is not to say that there is not some touching and flirting but it is generally in the hot tub or conversation pools and very late at night. The more "adult" nudist resorts we have visited are: Paradise Lakes, north of Tampa -- nice upscale resort. The dance on Saturday night can get very close to an off premises swingers club. Couples can connect at the dance, move to the conversation pool and then back to your room or condo. Caliente, a bit farther north of Tampa -- a true resort, very upscale. The dance on Saturday night can get wild but in our experience a bit more restrained (other than the ladies costumes) when compared to Paradise Lakes. Both Paradise Lakes and Caliente have Yahoo Groups that serve as an swingers introduction service. Pleasure Grove -- north of Atlanta near Cleveland GA. -- This is not an AANR resort so they are more relaxed about adult play. It is couples only, adults only. After the dance on Saturday night the party moves over to the Charter House. The Charter House is an on premises swingers forum. The problem is the accomdations are very rustic and the crowd can be small in numbers and large in other ways.
