Combining Lifestyle & Non-Lifestyle Friends - - We have both Swinger and non-swinger friends. We have found a few "swinger" friends that we would be "friends" with if we were not in the lifestyle. We have tried to invite these friends to parties that we have SPECIFICALLY specified as "VANILLA". ISO: sexy married couple - exclusive FWB - Let's have some fun... - Not really talking about lowering the bar necessarily...more just not getting in your own way by setting impossible standards that few, if any, couples might likely ever meet. And like I said, Ms. Evil and I are absolutely as guilty of this as the next guy.
My only point was that in almost THIRTY years of swinging we have, on more than one occasion, been surprised by our eventual connection with couples that we didn't really even give a second glance the first time we met them. Sometimes quality is a very fluid concept that, as humans, we aren't always great at judging.
And we agree 100% about quality over quantity. In fact, if you consider the actual number of couples that we've played with in almost three decades in the lifestyle you'd likely surmise that we were either extremely picky or just really lame swingers (Actually, that last one might be true. lol).
Bottom line, you absolutely should ONLY fuck people you want to fuck but maybe, just maybe, give a little thought to your criteria for choosing couples and think about which things on your checklist might actually end up not being all that important and prevent you from finding some really great people that might not check off every single box. What would you do? - what does a person do when their spouse no longer wishes to paticipate - There have been a lot of valid and reasonable points made. My fiancee and I are swingers, and we enjoy seeing each other with the same sex, as well as, the opposite sex. We have sat down and discussed it at great lengths. Like Tequila stated, it is recreational, it does not define our relationship. We like to meet as a couple, and we play as a couple, never separately. That is us, and how we swing.
I agree that they must sit down and discuss it. Not sure about the counseling. I think they work it out between themselves.

Cruise - pricing - You guys are really bitching about paying $2000 for two people for a 7 day lifestyle takeover cruise? I heard Utah people were cheap but come on. Let's break that down per day... $285... per couple... per day... We've been many places that aren't nearly as nice as being on a cruise with 2100 swingers and paid a lot more than that for just hotel rooms. Throw in car rental and food and you're out even more.
So what if you're paying $600 more than what they charge for a regular cruise... you don't have to worry about children and you're around people you can actually have fun with. Sounds like the extra money is worth it to me. And have you ever been on ANY vacation when you fly? Add in airfare, liquor, tips and gratuities as well. You're not getting those things free on most other vacations anyways.
Did you go to SwingFest? The rooms there were $300 a night! So if you can't afford this cruise, don't knock the people who put it together, we've been waiting for something like this for a long time and they deserve to make a bit of money off this because I'm sure it wasn't easy.
And you're probably the ones who bitch about there never being any events or parties for lifestylers, then when someone puts one together, you bitch about it because they make a dollar for their efforts.
We'll be on the cruise and we'll be glad to see those who aren't cheap on there with us.
