Summer is almost over, so what better way to say goodbye than to have a kickass party!!!! I'm pretty sure when our founding fathers first put quill to paper they had the hope that they were creating a new land based on the premise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness....LET'S GET SOME HAPPINESS YA'LL We gonna have a Labor day Lust-A-Thon!!!! Come on out Labor Day weekend and celebrate your day away from the man the way only swingers know how, by exercising your constitutional right to party!!!!!!! When I thought up the idea of having a Labor Day party, some thought I was mad, some thought I was crazy...THE FOOLS!!!! (cue maniacal laughter) This looks like it will be one of the BIGGEST turnouts ever, and it's all happening because of you......kudos. The festivities will begin on Friday September 3rd with a get together/bar meet at Jillian's High Life Lanes in Bloomington, Minnesota (that's in the Mall Of America) from 8 pm till. E402 E. Broadway Bloomington, MN 55425 952.854.5483 If you've never been there it used to be Gatlin Brothers Music City. Next to Players Restaurant, and across from Gators. We meet in the bowling alley by the bowling ball rack by the last bowling lane (We'll be the rowdy folks on the couch). There is no charge. Then the Fun continues with a party on Saturday Sept. 4th starting at 8:00 p.m. which will continue into the night of Sunday Sept. 5th. The donation for this little endeavor is 10.00 American per cpl or single (to cover expenses) and a dish to share with other party goers (chips, salad, etc.) And we'll supply the 2 King BR suite with full kitchen and the buffalo wings (we're ordering 200, so bring an appetite) And the weekend will wind down with a potluck cookout on Labor Day Monday September 6th at Como Park in St. Paul. PurfectLV party this weekend - - We know in some circles it is considered bad form to reply to your own post, but we thought an update on PurrfectLV would be useful for some. We went to the party last Friday night and we really enjoyed it. The venue at the top of the Mandalay Bay is fantastic. The swinger group has a separate room with a bar and with music at a low volume so conversation is easy. You can also go mingle in the main club/bar if you want to dance. There is also a great outdoor patio/balcony with a view of the Strip. The crowd (at least those we talked to) were mostly out of towners - for example, there was a whole party from Alaska who had only arrived in Vegas that night. There did also seem to be some regulars. Everyone seemed very easygoing and friendly - like most swingers. You can buy the admission ticket online before hand (we did) - it is more expensive to pay at the door. Online cost was $40 (plus a fee) for a couple with no additional charge for our third (a single female). Adding a single guy would ramp this up significantly. We are not sure how this compares to the regular admission to the club but it seemed reasonable given the private room. Bar prices were a bit steep by SLC standards - $14 for a glass of wine. Iman is a gracious and efficient hostess. She does this every week and has obviously streamlined the process. One really nice touch is that PurrfectLV guests don't have to stand in the regular line and are given a wristband. This gets you into the private room and means that you can also recognize other swingers even in the main bar. The main party runs from 10.30pm. At 1.30pm many people moved on to the after party which is in a hotel suite. This party is effectively a private house party and is BYOB. We didn't go so can't comment but it is definitely a full swing party. Iman circulates at the main party and distributes a second wristband for those interested. There is an additional contribution for this ($20/couple, single female again free).

Sturgis 2014 - The wife and I are wanting to know where the swingers play @ Sturgis - We have been attending for the last 6 years and stayed at Glencoe. We have met several Swingers there and had a great time. Also, there is a Meet and Greet on Sunday at Full Throttle Saloon usually around 6 pm. Also, met several couples that have house parties near Deadwood and Spearfish.

Younger couples - How hard is it for younger couples - i think in general there are less younger swingers because many of them havent reached a point where they are comfortable with the notion of "its just sex"

New Primary Picture Policies - Starting March 1st, 2009 - I wonder if our main pic would be considers an obvious sexual act. Cons: Drinks pricey/watered down, music too loud, "dress code", popular hangout with self proclaimed elite swingers. Club 48: Pros: Drinks great, music at reasonable level, relaxed atmosphere. Cons: Food sucks, understaffed, sometimes music sucks too. Northern Exposure: Pros: Private room with private smoking area, some drinks good, music at reasonable level, music ok. Cons: Some drinks pricey/watered down and they seem to run out of their "specials" quickly, food sucks too, staff really busy (altho they are friendly).
