Why are there so many swingers from Utah? - - We were actually considering moving home to Florida at summer's end! Maybe a 2500 mile detour out west is in order? Florida does seem to be the swinging mecca of the US. We have lived in Texas, California, and Florida and have have noted that South Florida (which should lose any such contest based on the population count alone) boasts 3 of the worlds best swingers clubs; atleast by NASCA's tally. We are fairly good friends with the owners of two of the other popular paid sites, and they are based in Florida, so the Floridian member count is very high. Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Yes, many in the lifestyle are as judgmental as those outside. I am 15 pounds overweight but to some I am as broad ahat comess a battleship. Club 90 party - - We've deleted all our public pics from our profile on this and other sites. It is the only safe thing to do. After working in the advertising and public relations field for many years I can unequivocally tell you that KSL has already determined the story they are going to write, and they are only going to the party to find supporting evidence of it. It doesn't matter what you say, they will edit out what doesn't fit the outline for the story that was agreed upon in a programing meeting and keep the stuff that does. Swingers... They Could Be Your Neighbor And I could go on and on with possible headlines. Never have I seen any positive spin put on the Lifestyle by the media. Sex and scandal makes ratings with produces ad dollars. And this fulfills both criteria in one story. Do a Google News search on swingers and see how many positive stories you come up with. I guarantee it will be 99% negative. KSL isn't going to tell a story of how swinging can bring a couple closer and strengthen an already good relationship. They aren't going to show how 79% of swingers report their marriage as "very happy" as opposed to 64% of the general societal survey (GSS), or that only 1.7% of swingers report their marriage/relationship to have become "less happy" after starting to swing. Or that 57% of swingers list marriage as "very important" in their life as compared to 51% of the GSS. They are not going to show that swingers are slightly more likely to be part of a religious organization the the GSS (72% compared to 61%). These are not facts that will support the sensationalist story they want to produce. They want to show wild sex orgies and broken marriages. Polyamory - three (or more)-way RELATIONSHIPS - Hi all.... I'm writing this because Mr. Halfbaked and I finally found someone to swing with, and it turned into more...for ALL of us. Well, me and Mr, and the female half of this couple (long story, relationship was on the brink WAY before we got involved, and they broke up shortly after a few encounters). Thing was, I had already become VERY good friends with the female, and they had been a "play alone and together" couple, so we'd had threesomes with just him and just her, so we knew we liked being with just her. And my guy liked her a lot outside the bedroom, too. Anyway, long story short, we were talking and the subject of polyamory came up (not that we knew that word at the time), because he and i had developed feelings for her, and she'd developed feelings for us. So now, we are a love-triangle in a GOOD way. I am in love with him AND with her, and he is in love with her AND with me, and she is in love with me AND him. We're all in love with each other. So we just kind of made up these rules for our relationship...we have all-together time, and each couple within the triangle also has equal time with just the two. It's been almost a year now, and it's still going strong...We all live apart due to life/economic concerns, but we're thinking about combining households as we plan for this to be a permanent thing. Maybe we'll have to default to wearing those black rings. - - The porn ban/block/opt-in is incredibly infeasible. Look at Reddit for example, there are TONS and TONS of subreddits (communities in a sense) that have porn. (reddit.com/r/swingers, reddit.com/r/swingersGW, reddit.com/r/nsfw, reddit.com/r/straightgirlsplaying...) It would take a tremendous amount of manpower in the state of Utah (as the ISPs will not do this) to label websites as "porn". Most exclusively porn sites (tubegalore, pornhub) are likely already labeled that, but again the reddits and tumblrs of the internet would take forever to filter out. Now, about the opt-in list being held with the ISPs. They already know every single customer who looks at porn. Unless you use a good VPN, they are well aware of every website you visit. That being said, while they might not have a list of people that look at porn, it would be really easy for a hacker to, once they get into the ISP, gather information about everyone who looks at porn and share it with the world. If they couldn't get into the ISP, they could still get this information from porn websites. Unfortunately for the Utah government, this plan is just not possible and is basically just BS to get support for reelections...
