We've had multiple occasions where people in the wild have introduced themselves to us as a result of the rings. Mostly when we were traveling (outside of Utah). It's really not a big thing in Utah, yet... but outside of the state it's catching on relatively quickly.

... Also worth noting... it's mostly catching on among the younger, "under 50s" crowd. The old-timers seem content to poo-poo any idea, concept, or trend that doesn't fit their definition of 'swinging'. (Including at least one person on here who spends, literally, every waking minute of his day trolling the forums making negative / sarcastic comments to anyone and everyone).

OUCH - Anyone caught swinging bu family or friends? - On a boat a boat, fishing, with my boss and his wife when she starts asking Raychel about our swingers profile her daughter saw on the internet. Aside from all the obvious problems like why is their HS aged daughter cruising swinger profiles; the other daughter lives in boston and would not know us from anywhere; why are they talking to each other about this; and can I swim to shore. That's why I'm wondering if anyone knows anythng about that job. Clearance levels are assigned to different jobs, whether someone's military or a civilian. Although it isn't too unusual for somone to start with one clearance then have to get a higher one if their job or resonsibiities change. Like they start out as a worker bee on something with just a Secret but some years later become a supervisor over others doing that same job, and have to have a Top Secret. Or like when I reenlisted in the Army in '79, all I needed for my job was a Secret. Then they later sent me to a school in Monterey for a different kind of job, and I needed a Top Secret with a Sensitive Compartmented Information endorsement, so they did one of those Special Background Investigations.

Where to go, what to do. - Non club activities - Is now a good time to bring up the wrist bands, distinctive rings,and necklaces of christmas past???? Sort of joking however the idea of non-club get meets has allot of potential, look at the summer campout for instance and once there was a bowling party in a closed venue that was a blast, we went to a swingers super bowl party that was awesome, Lava Hot Springs Takeover was too much fun so we definitely think there is room for different social activities. Now on to how to recognize peeps, good luck with that one as a community swingers seem to have been trying to figure that one out since long before we started recreating.
