The vent! - Judgements, I'm so tired of them. - On judgments: My wife and I were in the lifestyle for many years. She died 5 years ago of cancer and was the love of my life. It has been very hard for me as we were married for 34 years. Many of our friends were swingers because, as others have found, those not involved in the lifestyle often have negative judgmental attitudes. We made many friends. After she died I was supported by my friends but I was no longer invited to parties. For a while that was fine because I wasn't ready. But since I've tried to renew my lifestyle activities, I've found that I am no longer welcome. Why? Because I'm a single male. Forget that my wife and I were involved in the lifestyle up in Seattle, forget the many times we hosted parties at our house, my wife's death made me a pariah to other swingers. I really do not understand this. I'm still the same person. I'm discrete, clean, disease and drug free, I'm not pushy and no always means no. I guess I do not understand why all of a sudden I'm no longer welcome at parties i used to attend. Yes, many people not in the lifestyle judge those of us who are. But a large number of people in the lifestyle are just as judgmental, only they pretend that they are not.

Question for those in the lifestyle - What is the answer! - Why would you envolve me in your problem. I am not a part of it. But, if I have sex with you and you get caught, I am part of a bigger problem that has just been created. NO THANK YOU! You don"t belong in the lifestyle under these circumstances. (By the way this is the M half, but we both feel the same about this) My wife and I were Soft Swingers for about 8yrs before she decided to go the full swap route. She is happy with her decision to do so, and enjoys the fun WE are having now. I would have liked to have got to this point a lot sooner and had often encouraged her to go for it. She told me several times, it would be alright for me to have sex with someone else if I really wanted too. There was no way I would take that chance of messing up the good thing we had. Neither of us had ever cheated on each other. This doesn't make us goody-two-shoes. It did build a trust which makes it posible for us to share the benefits of this lifestyle with confidense in each other, now. We feel Trust and Honesty are two things that have to exist if you are going to enjoy the swinging as a couple. Sorry to hear about your situation, but we could not solve your problem if we were to play with you, only possibly make it worse. Thats just the way it is for us. Members, we need your help! - Your feedback is needed to get more members in your area. - As we prepare to launch the redesign of Swingular, we are also getting ready to launch an aggressive marketing campaign. As you all know, the success of Swingular not only comes from a great site, with great features that are easy to use but also from having a lot of members to choose from in each city or area. We currently utilize the normal routes to reach out to new customers but mostly rely on search engines for the majority of our referrals. Right now, the number of daily new sign ups is ok but we want to improve on that. Not only will this benefit Swingular but all of our members as it will bring in new members for you to contact. As a member, we feel your feedback can help us reach this goal so we need your help. First, how did you find out about Swingular exactly? How do you look for sites like this in general? As far as search engines go, Swingular is in the top 10 listings of most keywords such as Swingers, Adult Swingers, Swingers Ads, etc... If you found Swingular through a search engine, what keywords did you use? If not, what keywords would you use? What search engine? Do you have some other creative ideas that would help us promote Swingular? Any suggestions? A few years back, we were going to start a local host program. We scratched the idea for the time but now we are thinking of pursuing the program again. It works like this: We assign hosts in cities across the US, kind of like a franchise, for a small start up fee. Those hosts would then be responsible for promoting Swingular in their territories, provide local customer service, coordinate local parties and events as well as sponsor local parties and events. We would provide the tools necessary to help them do that such as flyers, cards, ads, banners, etc... In return, they would make 50% of all sales for their area for everyone whether they referred them or not.
