Scott was familiar with the subject of swinging though not experienced, I had never heard of it. One day he started asking questions about my fantasies. Over the next several weeks we really had honest conversations about what we fantasized about and what turned us on. After that Scott found a local swingers club so we went to their social dance. The Lava Hot Springs Fire & Ice Winterfest is held each year over the first full weekend of February. The town has a website you can follow for upcoming events.
Lava Hot Springs is a popular swingers hangout, most of it is informal, but several groups and organizations do hold Lava Meet N Greets throughout the year. The next meet and greet I'm aware of is May 24-26 Risqué School House Rock.
Accommodations vary from rustic to some very nice places with their own private hot tubs.

The crowd, the price & the facilities at each vary. Some will give you 1-day free passes to try them out. A good percentage of swingers live at or near several of these facilities.
For more casual spur-of-the-moment hooks ups, just try some of the bars in Ybor City. While you are there, also try to catch a meal at the Colombian. The food there is worth the trip if your other plans fall through.
