Polyamory - Please share your thoughts.... - My wife and I have been poly for almost 4 years now. We've learned that poly is a REALLY broad topic, and there are as many ways to "do" poly as there are grains of sand on the beach. We've met some awesome people. We've met some folks whose relationships resemble train wrecks. It's not right for everyone, but it's a viable option for certain people. My perception is that there isn't always a big difference between poly and swinging. I've met swingers that talk bad about poly but REQUIRE some sort of commonality and friendship before sex, and I've found poly people that badmouth swingers but use "poly" as an excuse to fuck anyone they want to. That's my perception. Can I have sex with someone I don't know but feel attracted to? Yes! Do I prefer intimacy with someone I feel a deeper emotional connection to? Sure! Thanks [/quote] As a single male also in this lifestyle who has faced a similar situation my advice would be to just openly talk about the lifestyle, involve both him and his wife in the convo casually over drinks one night when your just hanging out. Basically plant a seed and see if it grows, realistically if they are into the lifestyle and are open to the idea they will invite you, but its best to let them think its their idea to include you. For some couples it just might be out of bounds to include friends into their sexploits.

Discretion, the better part of valor - I love that saying - Being the female half here and in a "open" relationship..... Your profile photos are bad... I mean in this lifestyle people like what they like and if you dont have enough photos to show what you are like in general.... then pass (at least for us anyway) I always get more action then my hubby, he has the same issue....how to start up the conversation. Its hard enough for a actual single guy to get laid, let alone a married one without the woman thinking your a freak or cheating. We go to parties, and then follow up with the ladies there. Thats where he's got the most single guy action from. Even then that conversation can be a hard one to start haha I have a issue with my hubby not wanting to be "outed" in his professional circle so thats a difficult one. I'm very very very open and honest and that can be difficult for me to hide stuff like this (side note, I would NEVER out someone else, I just have a hard time keeping my own secrets!) All I can say about that being outed thing. Take a walk in the mall, you'll see a couple hundred people that your more then likely never to see again, even though logically you live in the same area and do some of the same general things. Swingers clubs in Amsterdam - - Almost forgot, Don't walk in the bicycle lanes. Some of the bicycle riders there are very aggressive about getting where they are going & if you are in their lane, some of them will not be shy about knocking you aside. Do try to take a canal ride while you are there & try to take in some of the sights. There are some good little museums there as well. In fact, Schipol Airport has a little mini museum right inside it, along with a casino, hotel, good restaurants, clothing shops & everything else that most other airports don't have. That airport is almost like it's own little city. One quick little travel tip that I figured out several years ago: If you get a stopover in Schipol that is less than 24 hours, it is considered a layover & not a separate travel leg, so you don't get charged extra. Since Schipol still has lockers that can be rented, it is possible to connect through there, drop your main luggage in a locker & catch a train downtown with just a small back pack for a day of sightseeing & other fun on your way to other European destinations.
